New York Nails

Had the best experience with the lovely ladies at New York Nails in Lane Cove, I have been having my nails done for some time now and only recently moved to the area and to find a nail artist that take the time and no rush job. The girls at New York nails certianly give you the care and time and do amazing job. Most definitely will return. Amazing work lovelies.

I've been going to Michelle for over a decade as I can rely on her and her staff to always provide a high quality service. All staff members take time and care and make sure that my nails are even, well-shaped and consistent in colour. Nothing is ever too much trouble for Michelle - she's done individual colours on each finger for me before; even this afternoon I brought in nail stickers for my SNS manicure and it was no trouble at all for her to apply them. Michelle and her staff are very accommodating and if anything is wrong with the shape of the nail or anything isn't quite right, they are happy to help. Cannot recommend highly enough.

I have never given a bad review. However, I believe this will help someone to choose the right shop. Last time, they removed my hard gel nail without acetones, which was an awful experience. They used a plastic nail chip and inserted it between gel art and my natural nails and tore it off forcibly. Of course, gel art was peeled off with layers of my natural nails. That was very scary and kind of pain. I asked her why not use acetone to remove nail art. She answered, ‘It takes longer.’ then continued to tear gels off with some layers of my natural nails. They do not care about customers’ nail condition/health. My nails became super thin, weak and sensitive after that. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this salon anymore.

I've since moved to Melb but just wanted to write a review to thank Michelle and her team for always looking after me. Everyone was always so attentive and helpful. Wish you all the best.Jane

I've been coming her for two years , my nails are healthier and the service is amazing. Highly recommend !

love the revamped look of the store and will continue to come back as all the ladies are super friendly and kind, not to mention the nails look fantastic!

My family and I went to get our nails done on Christmas eve. The ladies were rude and i regret spending a single dollar there. I chose a colour and the lady starting applying a different colour to my nails and said it was close and enough and I just got that one. They were more worried about doing each others nails then about doing mine or my families. Was told our nails were finished, every finger nail on my hands were shaped different, the polish was streaky and on my fingers. By the end of the experience we just wanted to get out of there as quick as possible. Both mine and two of my family members had the shellac we had done completely peel off our finger nails within 48 hours. Will never recommend this place to anyone, will never go back and I really wish any of the employees took accountability for how terrible our nails were instead of pushing us out the door so they could do each other nails.

I've been using NYN on and off for years for anything from Manicures to Pedicures and getting my SNS nails done too!Staff are usually very polite and they try so hard to make it an experience worth having.Being a Nail Tech myself I am very fussy, but Michelle and her team mostly do what I ask of them from simple overlays to strange coloured tips.There are times, when it is flat chat that they can't spend the time that they wish to spend on each client as they are getting so many people through the door and they want to help as many as they can.I would recommend this team of Nail Technicians to anyone and have taken friends and family along with me.Pedicures in the chairs are a great way to relax!
