Kennards Hire Lilydale

I recently hired a 100mm woodchipper. I cannot fault the equipment, the staff or yhe branch. Will definitely be using Kennards Lilydale again.

Super Easy, Super Fast, Trailer Hire.We booked an hour before pick up, when we arrived, there was a quick counter stop before we were hooked up with the trailer and on the road!Thanks team, great service

Delivery was scheduled for 8:30am, the item came at 9:15 and went to the wrong address. The staff member delivering didn’t know how to unload the item and had to phone the store for assistance. We understand that and appreciate a young person just starting but we’re really concerned they’d been sent out solo, obviously without adequate training.I had ordered a can of diesel with the hire which didn’t come so we had to go buy a Jerry can and diesel which cost us an hour of working time (and $65 out of pocket).When we filled it, the machine did start, drove 20m then stopped working. As it was now 5pm we didn’t call as there didn’t seem to be an after hours number.The next morning I rang upon opening and told them what happened. The staff member I spoke with was rude, unapologetic and basically blamed us for not having called them. He made no apology for either the equipment not working, or the diesel not being supplied.Would never do business with again. The condition of the machine itself was poor, the customer service was appalling.

Super efficient, flexible service, very grateful to the team! The delivery team were so great when we faced the challenge of a fallen tree over the best access gate on the property. Thanks so much for being patient and flexible with us whilst we worked on a solution for the delivery of our portaloo!

Fantastic customer service and great team

I worked at lilydale kennards hire for four years not a nice place to work. all staff full of of themselves jarrard /jamie/Mark/adam. don't work for or hire from any kennards hire. workplace bullying and not acted on. when u stand up for yourself they will terminate your employment if unlucky enough to work here be prepared to work 50hrs per week plus lots of free overtime not paid do not trust this company

Thanks to the team at Kennards Lilydale making it simple to get the job done. One call to Jarryd for an urgently needed tool and even though his branch had just hired the last in-branch tool he was able to pick up one from a nearby branch on his way to work the next day so I could still complete my work. Great service….Do yourself a favour and just go to Kennards first, they are the real deal and easier to deal with than the others
