I attended for breakfast with some friends one morning. The decor is nice. The antique looking table and chairs give it some charm although the chairs felt a bit wobbly (i predict a Shallow Hal moment in the future).I ordered at the counter, staff didnt seem too excited or overly friendly, i felt like i was inconveniencing them.I got an acai bowl for $17 and the portion was small. It tasted ok, nothing special but i definitely wouldn't order it again nor would i ever recommend it. Most places sell acai bowls averaging $13 that are well portioned and have more ingredients, so why anyone would want one from here is a mystery.Friends ordered some big breakfast thing which was good value, good size and tasted nice. A staff member thanked us and was friendly when we left.Overall: staff was ok but could definitely be friendlier and act like they want our business. Prices can be on the upper end, it is Gregory Hills not Vaucluse. There are many businesses that sell food and beverages and i dont really see anything special about this one that would make me go back. I would recommend trying it for yourself though as everyones experience is different. Just dont get the acai bowl

Great coffee, best in town. Unfortunately it’s freezing in winter. Indoor heating needs to be supplied to ensure the comfort of staff and customers alike. Like it’s actually freezing in there.

Your food is an absolute rip off.This crumb of a slice was $7!!!!!And this awful excuse of a smashed egg was $25.I will never order from you again. I am disgusted that you think it is appropriate to charge this amount of money to delivery customers who are blind to the actual item for food that is clearly not worth anywhere near what you charge for it. One would think that you would get a whole slice, and that a full priced breakfast meal would be more than a sloppy piece of bread with barely any toppings as advertised!?DO BETTER!

Paid $47.00 for 2 x wraps, one small bowl of chips, and 2 x 300ml bottled juices. The wraps were scrappy and bland, and while the chips tasted great, were overpriced for the serving size. Nice enough vibe inside the venue, but sorry to say it felt like I was taken for a ride.

So disappointed, thought I had found a good local cafe but absolutely won’t be back.3 ice coffees later; all absolutely disgusting I can’t even drink.The “coffee” is either a coffee syrup or a old coffee sitting on the bench ready to use for cold drinks.Every time was just free poored in so they don’t measure the coffee or strength. In what world is a coffee with milk this dark!! 3 sugars later couldn’t even save it..$9 on an iced coffee too! Tipped them down the drain every time, my mistake for giving them multiple chances.

This is for the owner. Your coffee is good but your staff is pathetic.You should hire people who has customer service skills and smile when taking order.It is Sunday today and time is 8.45 so you can check your cameras when a girl is serving/taking orders.No smile no people skills and she is rude. They pick and choose in asking for names for take away too. Whoever they like can I get a name? And for others it's not asked.I am changing my cafe from now on but just wanted to do a favour and let you know that your business will be impacted when a staff is rude in front.I will never hire them in my business as there are lots of people out there looking for jobs and who will be an asset to any business.Good luck!

not fresh, smelt like rotten fruit, puddle of rotting liquid soaked at the top of the chia pudding. they need to be more careful with their almond milk as it can cause serious food poisoning if handled poorly. after scrapping off the first layer i took a bite and immediately started throwing up... i wouldn't recommend this place

We were in the area looking for a cafe that still had a kitchen open after 2:30pm and luckily Extract Espresso's kitchen closes slightly later than others at 3pm! Very grateful that the staff prepped us a meal right on the edge of kitchen closing, and they prepared it really nicely. Very much enjoyed our scrambled eggs, gourmet toastie, turmeric latte and piccolo latte. They do Campos coffee here if you're a coffee drinker on the lookout for that specific brand. Really nice decor in here, great hidden oasis from the busyness of outside!
