YogaBar Burwood

Bad service and experience overall. Takes your money and that's the end of it. Want to discontinue, and wants to charge a fee. They double charge us one time, and don't credit us back the right amounts and make excuses. Burwood & City branches are terrible, I wouldn't tell anyone to go there. Be less than 5 minutes late and be sent away saying you're late, come back next time.

Excellent class

I love the corporate gym group, YogaBar and Fit n Fast. Whilst I've had amazing experiences at their Bondi Beach and Hurstville studios, the Burwood studio has let me down twice. Their customer service over the phone was appalling (they gave me incorrect advice on joining - told me I had to see them in person, when it was possible to join online), and their members are rude and hog the equipment. A gym culture I don't want to be a part of.

Signed up Nov 2018 after a staff member informed me that it was better to lock in a contract at the end of the year as the cost of membership would go up in 2019, did not happen, was an outright lie. Also informed me that there would be no cancellation fee after fulfilling the 6 month contract. Turns out they meant 13 fortnightly payments not including weeks where you pause the membership where you're still charged a fee. Hence when I tried to cancel in July after 7 months, was informed I still had 3 payments to go. I am now forced to pay for 3 fortnights of classes ($137) that I can not attend. Would have cancelled sooner had I been told. They make it so difficult to cancel a membership and so many hidden costs they don't inform you about when you sign up.

I really enjoy classes with Tracie on Sunday mornings. She is a brilliant teacher, attentive to each individual. Due to Covid, the classes are smaller these days which I am enjoying.

Booked an introductory pass online which said it would activate from the first class I book. A week goes past and I get a call that it expires in another week! Customer service on the phone not very good. I like a yoga place that is more human and caring. This is more like a generic gym... will not give them anymore of my money.

It's ok

Like the place-very friendly and stuff is super attentive. Good feel of the energy and feel of the athmosphere. Classes start on time and there are variety of to choose from- recommended.
