Southbeach Brisbane | A little slice of Palm Springs in the heart of South Bank, Southbeach is THE venue to sip, savour and socialise in. Lay back in a lounge with cocktail and bao bun in hand; or party into the night with cocktail trees, beer towers and food specials. DJs and live soloists keep the vibes going Friday to Sunday. Walk-ins are welcome, however we highly recommend booking to avoid disappointment.

Food was nice. The green papaya salad had a nice spice to it but not too hot. We ordered the kids hotdog which said it came with chips, we we given salad didn’t get any chips which a 9 year old was not too pleased with. Otherwise drinks were cooling on a hot day and overlooking the beach was a nice view.

A large range of drinks to choose from, loved the location and the view. Staff were friendly. I like the different options of seating too.

Great atmosphere and location. Across from the inner beach and other restaurants. Nice place however a place is not just rated on it's location.Ordered a steak m/r as per menu with a side of chips and a mushroom sauce as the red wine was out of stock.....nice order right. As per the photo the steak was rare in some areas and full of sinew, 8 pieces chips fits in little bowl below and some type of mushroom soup definitely not a made sauce. The plate cost $48. Owner please your finger foods may be good but guys eating steak here at that cost is absolutely not worth the location or effort. I was generous with 2 star, I have had better steak at a pub at $28. Sorry boss but you will not see me again.

Went there on Sunday. Two meals - burgers - came out within 10 minutes of ordering but with cold chips. Drinks which were order at the same time as the food arrived after 25 minutes. The last meal - fish & chips - arrived 30 minutes after the other two and by that time the others had finished eating. The fish was bland and the caesar salad had seen better days. I can understand why the ordering app attempts to add a tip when ordering as you certainly wouldn’t after actually experiencing the food and service.

Best Fish and chips I’ve had so good. Crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside Yummm.. the duck was really good as well..

Such a relaxing bar for a drink, especially sitting on the edge overlooking the beach and cityscape and with a brilliant atmosphere. The staff were welcoming and there is a large range of drinks on offer, complete with some more unique imported options. It was nice that these were also served in the proper branded glasses. It wasn’t the cheapest place in the area but totally worth it for the setting. Although I didn’t get a chance to sample the food, it all looked great with good portion sizes. I’ll certainly be returning here!

We ordered the fish and chips and slider meal. The fish and chips were good but a bit bland the sliders were ok but one of the buns were stale expected more for the money. My biggest gripe is when ordering through the app it adds a 10% tip to your order as default which I’m sure is deliberate as by the time I realized it was too late. Very deceptive and sly tactics that totally ruin the experience

Gorgeous place in Southbank to enjoy lunch on a nice sunny day. The restaurant have a great atmosphere and a lovely outlook. The food is always good, amazing cocktails choices and great service. Often there is also a DJ on the weekends and I'd be keen to try the bottomless brunch that they offer.

Came here for lunch with my mum and day. Ordered 3 meals together, dads came out first and mums was 15 mins behind. My burger is still a no show. After 40mins from the first meal arriving they refunded my meal.Unless you want to east by yourself, go somewhere else as even if you order them together you will not eat them together.I understand the kitchens can have issues but most places tell you before you order so you can choose to stay or go somewhere else. To only be told 40mins after the first meal comes out while you are still waiting for the other meals is poor at bestWhen leaving I asked the kitchen a question to which i was aggressively spoken to by a waitress so it gets a 1 as I can not leave a ZERO. My family and I will not be back.
