Confidence Boost Tutoring

It's an absolutely fantastic place to work. The tutors are all friendly and fun, the room is always abuzz with exciting activity, and most importantly the children are all a joy to work with. As someone who has worked in a number of tutoring settings, this is by far my favourite.

We've used Confidence Boost Tutoring for a year. Initially it was mostly for maths, as my daughter (then Year 10) had fallen behind and was in danger in failing. Her tutor helped her get through her backlog of work, stay up-to-date in class and improve her test marks (from 30% to 70+%). She also did a couple of sessions in intensive French before a student exchange. We are continuing to use Confidence Boost Tutoring for year 11 English, Modern History, Legal Studies and Geography. These are strong subjects for my daughter, but the tutoring helps her consolidate the work she does in class and gives her the chance to discuss the topics, which is a more effective way of learning for her. I also appreciate how her tutor helps her plan her study and homework schedule and think about (and work towards) what she wants to do in life. I can't recommend them highly enough.

Confidence Boost Tutoring definitely boosted my confidence! After a few sessions in HSC Advanced English, I had learned how to plan essays in exam conditions and how to organise my thoughts into sound theses but most of all, I could go into my final exam with confidence knowing that I had the support of dedicated tutors. This allowed my thoughts to flow clearly and my time to be maximised. In the end, a Band 5 in English and an ATAR of 92.90 proved the effectiveness of this company as my English marks were much lower in previous assessments.
