Refuge Rock
This place is closed with the lane for the entry closed. Not sure since when it's been closed. The reviews are probably old. It's open only for fire and rescue vehicles. Don't waste your time going here. It's the same as the Dural reserve which has no entry point.

// Walking tracks are very much open. //Fantastic views of the valley and Bush, a great place to come for a peaceful walk. I have been coming here for hikes at night for years but have only recently visited during the day, totally different experience. Really interesting rock formations, beware there is alot of glass shards around the area unfortunately so be careful

It’s a nice walk out to refuge rock through the Scribbly Gums, though sturdy shoes are required because there are loose rocks along the track. Refuge Rock is a great spot to sit and relax and appreciate nature, or have a picnic. Lots of room for social distancing. It’s quite out in the open but there are some slightly shaded areas. The walk is very doable with kids if you’re willing and able to carry them part of the way.

A lovely natural rock formation that is very popular with the locals. Beautiful views, nicely done tracks and plenty of space to have lunch on the rock.
