Extremely professional & yet personable. Sheridan was very impressive from our first meeting.I am always dubious of car sales people & real estate agents. But Sheridan had taken time to do extensive research in the area & the property I was putting on the market. He helped with the guide price & the sale price was very close to the dollar value promised and in this market, that is a miracle. But, his research was flawless.He kept me updated every week via email & phone, on the progress of interest and the follow-up. The follow-up with interested parties was impeccable & the report concise & useful to read.He was also very lovely in helping with solicitors, and the peripheral admin associated with selling a property. The buyers were traditional & wanted to meet in person for all discussions& negotiations and Sheridan was prompt in booking these meetings and providing an update.I plan to stay in the property game & will look for avenues to work with Sheridan again.

Over the last 10 years I have dealt extensively with Place Newmarket. My initial contact was with Matthew Jabs who won my business in a competitive process, put his money where his mouth is and then delivered on his promises. I went on to sell another 3 properties with Matt, he has extensive industry knowledge and is always available to help out and bounce ideas off. I also regularly deal with Shane Hurley and Lara Mooser-Smeath who manage 3 properties for me. They are both excellent operators who represent both myself and the tenants fairly, bringing their expertise to resolve any issues. I know my properties are in good hands!

I dont normally leave bad reviews unless its warranted. This agency has changed that many property managers during 6 months i was renting through them that proves what kind of business they are. It has been over 1 week since i have moved out and they have still not returned my bond. The place was left in a better condition than when i moved in. Definitely will not recommend them to any landlords or tenants. Will be lodging a formal complaint with QCAT if the bond is not refunded this week.

Lara from Place Newmarket has been extremely helpful, attentive, and knowledgeable during our tenancy. Lara made all processes smooth, transparent, and clearly understood, and was very informative and supportive when promptly addressing any inquiries or complications during our lease. We have never had a property manager more considerate, personal, accessible, and responsive, creating such a positive experience for us as tenants. Being a real estate agent myself (not for Place) it's common for other agents to not return my calls/enquiries, however, Shane and Mia have been nothing but friendly, prompt and extremely helpful. They took the time to show me a home outside of their scheduled inspection times as I work Saturday's as well and always were sure to keep us informed every step of the way. Shane and Mia went above and beyond to help us with all our questions and to make sure we were comfortable moving into our new home. Highly recommend Shane, Mia and the team, we couldn't be happier.

Lara at Place Newmarket has been amazing to have as our property manager during my tenancy. Always happy to answer questions and help out with various processes. When I enter the property market myself I won't hesitate to use Lara to manage my property.
