Stranger Films have played a vital role in the development of eSports at HOTA, Home of the Arts and the presentation the annual Pop & Play Festival. Their filming and livestream services were of high quality, engaging and rolled out easily and effeciently. Incredibly impressed with Tony, Gen and their team.We used Stranger Films for shoots in Brisbane and the Gold Coast for a documentary, and they were excellent from pre-production through to finish. They shot everything from talking heads to action shots and drone cutaway, and throughout the process were very communicative which made everything a lot easier for us.This was also done in the middle of the pandemic, so while I couldn't be on site personally Gen was fantastic as a production manager in organising and ensuring everything was filmed to our requirements.We were initially nervous about outsourcing our production as we usually use an in-house team, but were put completely at ease with the attention Tony gave to understanding our needs in terms of style and delivery, as well as taking time to understand our project. Feedback from talent and clients has also been really positive, noting that Tony was great at helping those on camera to feel at ease.

I cannot recommend these guys enough! We worked with Gen and Tony to pull together an ad for Youngbloods which aired on Gruen late last year. Gen and Tony were able to make our budget and tight timelines work and they produced a top-quality ad. Gen, Tony and their team were also really great people to work with and we’re so grateful to have been able to work with them! Although we didn’t win a Gruen trophy, we have an amazing ad to show for it and great friendships, all thanks to these guys.

Stranger Films worked with us to develop our ideas for a short film aimed at motivating the public to think differently about some taboo subjects. They not only brought their excellent technical skills but were willing to wrestle with the nuances of the topic and invent a style and approach which would engage and persuade our audience. They worked sensitively with our non professional talent and the final result exceeded our expectations. Utopia Entertainment and Stranger Films work on a couple of occasions to deliver E-sports streaming for major clients in Brisbane and Gold Coast (The University of Queensland and Home of the Arts Gold Coast). E-sports is still a growing scene in QLD, and such, the delivery encounters difficulties along the journey. However, the team at Stranger Films is very understanding, and flexible to work with. Their delivery is also very professional and of high quality even with budget restriction. All of our clients are very satisfied with Stranger Films.
