Fun, quirky and friendly cafe in the centre of Atherton. We came on a weekend and it was really popular with a queue out the door! The food options are perfect for a country cafe. The service was great, food came out fast and was hearty.

Took some visiting friends, well over 20min wait just for a coffee. Thought it might have just been a one of. Just tried again, different week different day. Not a particularly busy lunchtime. Over 20min wait to get a warm coffee and another 20 before food that was ordered from the cabinet, to arrive .I'm local and experienced this place humming and would say something, unfortunately, has gone wrong with the service here.

Coffees were lukewarm, but a nice flavour, the chai latte didn't have much taste but I'm guessing that's because it was fresh chai leaves and would need to soak for a long timeThe scones were very yummy with fresh cream and jam.

The owner is absolutely lovely but unfortunately the staff are a little involved in some gossip amongst themselves and takes away from the service. They have an amazing coffee machine and process for making coffee, (not the nicest bean in my opinion) but it can take some time to be served. I saw a hold up for 10 minutes while a staff member on her day off came in and took over the coffee machine, meanwhile customers' coffee orders were piling up for 10 minutes before she finished and then the working staff could start the making and catch up process for the actual customers. Apart from that, the atmosphere is nice. It's just a shame the boss probably doesn't see what's going on with her staff so much. Causing trouble for some of the nicer workers. She's great and actually cares to provide quality service and food. Good location. Hopefully she can get some better staff to run it her way

We arrived at 2pm, to be told that the kitchen was closed. The advertised time on website for closing is 3pm. If this business is helped by tourism, then a tourist will search the online time. They only offer takeaway after 2pm. VERY DISAPPOINTING.

My no-brainier top pick for best Cafe in the tablelands. If you haven't been here, you need to fix that.Without fail I visit this place at least once whenever I'm up in the tablelands (about twice a year) and treat myself to the absolutely spectacular food and drink offered here.My personal favourite being the D'Bruggy Burger with a G5 Hot Chocolate. Easily the best burger I've ever bought with such a unique look and deliciously fresh home-cooked taste, alongside a large and delightfully presented hot chocolate with generous amounts of cream.Every other meal I've tried has also been spectacular, but that combo is my favourite.

The food was delicious however, servings are very small for the hefty prices charged with prices due to go up again in the coming months. Customer Service was pretty disappointing with dirty dishes left on table. The lady who served us seemed disinterested and consistently spoke in an inappropriate manner. Her consistent sighing was very off-putting. The staff also took their time clearing off tables. Would I return? Probably not.

It’s a shame that such a funky cafe is so out of touch with ethical consumption and quality customer service. No free range eggs (only cage eggs) and what a look did I get when I asked! I ordered a panini and got the attached. Very disappointing dining experience to say the least.

Don’t bother.Asked for eggs Benedict with sweat potatoe Rosti, told we can’t have it, we don’t have Rosti, asparagus or broccolini, they have not made the Rosti yet (11:30am)Also order the pancakes with Maple Syrup & Bacon. Received the pancakes and told no bacon doesn’t come with it!Clearly on the menu.Edited as you can not reply.If it wasn’t for my non fuss wife I would have taken this up with staff.Note for ordering here, you must state all the ingredient under your choice in order to receive them apparently!Lovely coffee though. And they did apologize for no Rosti, just the bacon topped my off,
