From the long distance consultation and planning stage, through to execution and continued service.Kat's communication is warm, informative and inspiring, her confidence in her trade shines as she guides your journey toward something that will work beautifully with both your skin and her art style. I trusted Kat would be able to create something beautiful from an extremely high level brief, and that trust was definitely not misplaced, she is truly uniquely creative, her style simply stunning. i get comments all the time on how beautiful my tattoos are, she is absolutely worth flying interstate for! (which I do for every session!)Kat's new studio is a purpose built private space nestled amongst some of the most gorgeous views of Huon's bushland. It boasts a soothing and comfortable safe haven for both body and mind, and Kat herself plays a big part in that. The work table is positioned in front of a large window that allows you to watch native wildlife and relax completely, whilst you have breathtaking bespoke artwork applied.Kat's touch and technique with he needle is incredibly gentle. I have experienced several tattoo sessions over my life with other artists, and can resolutely say that with Kat, the discomfort barely registers, even for marathon sessions. Conversation and interaction during your appointment is on point, she makes you feel so at home that you could call a session with her 'therapy' as opposed to simply 'tattooing'.I honestly can't recommend Kat Scarlet enough, not only because her art is stunning, and the location is breathtaking, but also because she is an amazing person (and fancy) who you will want to keep coming back to, I can pretty much guarantee you will be planning your next piece the minute your sitting is done! So, If you are considering a tattoo, you should definitely contact her first. It doesn't matter where in Australia you are, it's 100% worth the trip!!
