small store with a lot of stock... I got a %50 off kettle there. I cant fault the place...

Everything has been on a closing down sale for at least 8 (Eight) years at -70% to -80% off, I'm wondering if this is even legal or should be reported as misleading / scam. The items are just average quality and not worth the money. The staff has no clue and are not friendly.

Don't believe the signs that say it is closing down soon, same for the last few years. Always on sale, there are some decent deals inside but it's really not that special. Store isn't well organised and is just filled with stuff.

28 Oct 2021Best customer service I have had the pleasure of experiencing in recent days. I called about a gift card that I couldn’t use online and spoke to Fatima. What a heaven sent Fatima. She was so accommodating and suggested that I just needed to make that one trip to the store instead of making multiple trips and she would arrange my Kitchenaid Hand Mixer to be delivered to my home directly. I made that trip to House @ Broadway and both Fatima and the other person manning the store were busy but Fatima took the time and patience to handle me and sort everything out in a jiffy. Bought some other stuff with Fatima’s help and the price was on discount. Win win. Great day and thanks to Fatima for making it easy. House has great stuff too. (Apologies if I spelt Fatima wrongly)

Global Retail Brands (the mother company) honored a pan life warranty after being contacted by email. Impressive

This review is NOT about the products but about the House store in Broadway. I made a special trip on a Saturday (21/11) to Broadway Shopping Centre to visit House. I checked the opening hours and drove over there and they were doing a stock take, on a Saturday during one of the busiest periods of the year! There was a sign that said they were doing a stock take and that it’ll be open on Sunday. Slightly ticked off but went across on Sunday too. At 11am they are still doing a stock take. No one is bothered about people standing outside their store. House - you guys are losing thousands of dollars by doing stock takes on the weekend. Doesn’t get more stupid than that

You all probably know this shop; everything is always 30% - 60% off, all year-round. At present, all 70% off as they're refurbishing (again).Strangely, I took in a casserole dish I'd bought there about 3 or 4 months ago. The first time I used it, I put some vegetables in it to stay warm in the oven. No drama, you say. That's what I thought, too.Until I took it out of the oven & the bottom fell out !!! Yes, laugh. I did too, until I took it back to return it.The manager said they never stocked that brand of casserole dish. I BEG to differ. I bought it there & paid cash for it myself. Anyway, it's still in the shop behind the counter. I don't want it back; it'sclearly marked oven proof
