Both nights we stayed we couldnt get park as trucks were in our parks in front of room. Ladies up end were loud etc to all hours of the night. No cutlery in one of the rooms which were a bit small but beds were comfy. No extra pillow. To top it off got charged extra cleaning without any notification which you have to let customers know for dog hair that had come off clothes of our handler. Pretty sure you shouldnt have to undress outside before going in.

I’ve never stayed at a worse hotel, as soon as I walked in the room there was a horrible stench that wouldn’t leave. Also went to have a shower, there was no hot water, only one power point worked in the room. So I couldn’t even use the fridge and tv at once! Not to mention the rust everywhere in the bathroom was absolutely filthy. Wouldn’t wish staying in my room upon mg worst enemy.

The room was warm and clean. The food in the restaurant was really good the house wine excellent. Plentiful hot water in the shower. The staff friendly and engaging. Near perfect

This is written with no prejudice, be careful when booking through a third party ,like booking. com ,I cannot speak for the other providers however .The down side to this process ,you are not provided with a room number , Pin numbers to the door are provided but this is no use if you do not have a room number .Be mindful this accomodation has no friendly face to greet you , all is carried out by a digital check in which if you have pre booked and a phone number provided by the bocking agency ,you simply cannot get access to the room .The bathrooms appear to have a recent upgrade ,while looking fresh , the floor tiles are treacherous to navigate when walking if their is the slightest of moisture on tiles - so be warned .The Hot water ,is literally boiling water coming from an instantaneous water heater .- far too hot and can easily SCALD you if not AWARE .- be Warned .I would like to think management would consider putting in a simple hand rail in the shower and or Anti slip tile treatments on the tiles ,just so you can stay upright !The plus is new comfortable beds are standard along with the fridge and complimentary coffee as you would expect .Nice views of the pine plantation across the road .If the above sounds daunting ,I would still consider another stay there just because it is away from the rat race .Only if improvements were made .Thanks for reading

The room smelt like old cigarette smoke and we could not open the windows to let in fresh air as there were people from other units smoking outside. I think it would need a re-paint to get rid of it. Bathroom appears to have been recently renovated but having a shower causes water to spread from the shower across much of the floor making it very slippery. Check in is done with an automatic machine and it glitched so I had to call the owners and they were very helpful. The beds were comfortable but basic. Other guests partied til 2am and with no-one else around and no number to call management, I almost called the police as I did not feel safe.

I totally enjoyed my three night stay with my dog. Pet friendly accommodation is behind the main building, consisting of two transformed shipping containers (rooms 14 + 15) with gorgeous views of sheep, trees and birds. We didn't hear any traffic or noise from other guests. The rooms are clean and modern and well fitted with a big shower with plenty of hot water, a fantastic kitchenette, flat screen TV, and a bed so comfy I had to check out the name of the mattress.Management are super efficient and helpful. I would definitely stay there again.It was a super relaxing time for us and with the creek walks nearby we really enjoyed Naracoorte.

The rooms are clean and warm. Located short walk to brilliant restaurant at next motel. Staff are great and tend to any problems promptly. Definitely coming back.

Booked a room by phone through owner, requested twin room two beds, on arrival one bed was made the other not, had to make ourself. Had a shower in morning drains all blocked flooded water all over floor and toilet area. Tried to report it but no one could be found, left a note on comments form in room informing of the above, but nothing heard by phone. Very disappointing and would never recommend the Rest Motel Naracoorte to anyone thinking of booking there. You would think they would give a discount or refund. There are a lot of motels in the town stay away from this one.
