HCD Martial Arts has been an amazing place to train in both with the skills I've learnt but atmosphere as well. The instructors are incredible and everyone going there has a blast. I'd definitely recommend this to everyone whether its to help younger kids learn important things like control, respect and self-discipline, or for more experienced people to really learn and pickup martial arts as well as hone them. Overall just a great place to be.

We have been training at HCD for 18 months now as a family of 4. We all love it, learning heaps about ourselves. I find it helps me relax and get away from the every day. Highly recommend for the novice or experienced Martial Artist.

A month ago my 8 year old daughter was asking to start karate, HCD Martial arts suited us with times and a variety of locations. I was happy we got the chance to do a trial week compared to one trial class . At the first class I knew Ella loved it, I was amazed at what some of the younger kids could do and joined myself. We now go twice , if possible three times a week for a great price. From fitness to discipline and confidence HCD covers all areas and is great for kids . We wish we had if joined sooner .

My son and I train 3 times a week with hdc. To say we love it is an understatement. We have always felt welcomed and valued. Most importantly we are challenged to push our personal limits in every session. The discipline, acceptance and community at hdc is outstanding. Best decision ever.

Our kids have been attending HCD Academy since 2013. The tenents taught at the Academy and the rapport David Hinds and Dennis Smith have with all the members and their families are the just the basis of why our club continues to thrive and grow. We are family and our children benefit greatly from the skills and knowledge taught here. We are so grateful for the impact David has on our children as they continue to grow in confidence and good standing. I recommend HCD and their teachers to all!

We signed our son up with HCD Martial Arts Academy about 4 years ago and it was the best decision we have ever made. If you’re considering joining a martial arts school for either your child or yourself, we highly recommend Shihan David and the crew at HCD Martial arts.

The best little martial arts club on the Gold Coast. We joined the club after visiting a few because I found David and Dennis to be focused on the kids and what they were teaching them as opposed to some other instructors who seemed to be doing it because they had too.

Our boys have been attending HCD with David Hinds and Dennis Smith for 5 years now. They have loved community feel as have we as parents. The instruction is adapted to kids of all levels and made fun at the same time. Highly recommend for kids to adults!
