Rotary Pioneer Park
This Rotary Pioneer Park was created for the people by locals. This outdoor space has picnic tables, barbeques, seating close to the river, and made made pond where you can watch the ducks, geese and other bird life. There is also a playground and short walk on the footpath there is a meditation path to one side. The footpath it's self follows the river for some distance past established trees, over small pedestrian bridges, and along the way there is seating to just sit and relax and watch the flow of water. There are tiolets at the back of the buildings, I noticed the small sign pointing the way. I also noticed a sewerage dumping point for caravans. There are a couple of shops within walking distance and the town centre is less than five minutes drive to buy what you need for a BBQ. I stop here each time I am in Tumut.

This place is a godsend for parents of stir-crazy toddlers. It has a plethora of play equipment for even the most discerning tot. The highlight is surely the climbing spider web - it even kept my tiny tyke engrossed, both going up AND down!

I'm so grateful to be in a park with a lovely fast flowing river next to it. Note: Parents should always be with their kids at all times near the river, that current is fast and strong. Very pretty to look at but super fast. The Labyrinth is nothing special except for what it represents. The public toilets are inconvenient... across the road and behind the indoor basketball courts, note to parents: no dodgy people around but escort your kids over or make them go in large groups cos they're out of sight when going to the toilet. The play equipment and BBQ are nice, lots of pretty trees, great family atmosphere, great for sporting or church groups, definitely go again.

A beautiful place to visit. You can go by yourself and enjoy the tranquility - It's also a very large area with play area's, sitting, BBQ's, pond with friendly ducks & goose that come to you. So if you want to take the family or have a picnic, it's the perfect place. .

Great park for every one ducks/ heaps of seats/plenty of equipment for the whole family always mowed and cleanOnly draw back is no close toiletsWhere they are situated is no good for the elderly and little children way too far to walk maybe consideration could be given to this matter

Had an enjoyable picnic lunch by the river; well maintained facility. Loved the path beside the river and the exercise equipment. Thank you to those who maintain the area.

Great park for the kids to play. Not a heap of play equipment but there are ducks and geese you can feed or admire and there’s plenty of pathways for you to walk along the Tumut River and admire the views of this glorious valley.
