Auto King Mobile Mechanics and Roadworthy Certificates

The service provided to me by the Auto King Mobile Mechanic was, in a word, excellent. He arrived on time - a little early, actually, but he had called ahead to let me know he would be early, and I greatly appreciated that.He was remarkably efficient and conducted the vehicle inspection in a highly professional manner. His work was so thorough that I am sure nothing was missed and I am confident that his assessment of the vehicle one on which I could depend fully.

Got a Roadworthy done by Auto King... Fit me in fast, turned up at my house when they said they would, and got everything sorted. Will use them again, and can definitely recommend them for at home Roadworthy's.

Requested a roadworthy and was strongly advised to be at home for 11.15 to accommodate the mechanic arriving... I waited for over 1 hour and received no contact (no show).i called the company phone 4 times and kept getting voicemail and left a number of messages. It appears they have a principle of not answering calls and will call back as they se fit or they do not have their phone attended.I had taken time off work to accommodate this and having a no show or return phone call is just rude and unprofessional.This wasn't my first time to try plan a roadworthy with this company and the for time round they did not answer the calls either so it seems to be the norm.I'm not expecting a response to this review as I can also see they have a generic response that they will copy and paste which actually just eludes to their capability and does not address any of the concerns.They finally rocked up at 13:42 which is only 1.5 hours late. the mechanic did a good job and I don't blame him but the admin side of things is pretty poor.

We had to have an alternator replaced while away from home in Townsville. The service from Auto Kings was fantastic. They even came earlier than quoted. The technician was friendly and easy to deal with. We contacted them after 3pm Wednesday and the car was back on th road in less than 24 hours. Very thankful.

No one arrived! Booked a service on Wednesday and they organised it for Saturday, 1130am. No one arrived, so we called at 12, the woman receptionist said the mechanic will arrive at 1230 instead. 2pm later, still no one. No text, no calls, nothing! Useless!!! AND THEY CLOSE AT 2PM ON SATURDAYS, so Thanks for NOTHING

Hector was recommended by a friend as a good mechanic familiar with the Mazda MX5 I was looking to buy. Hector had a good check out of it. and subsequently the safety certificate checkout was ok on 1st inspection

Excellent service.I required a quick response to an unexpected need to replace engine and transmission oils; the latter requiring some knowledge on the procedure to getting the level correct.They were prompt in getting a mechanic on site in difficult weather conditions and he [Zac] completed the job very well, leaving everything clean. Daniel did a mobile roadworthy certificate, and even though my vehicle failed, Daniel did a very professional job, and I really appreciated that, because if I was buying a car I would like to think that it had a good safety test done.Thank you Autoking.
