South Morang Regional Office - Simonds Homes

I took 9 months to even put a slab down, every other home in the estate whos land tittle at the same time is finished or close to. I wish I had went with Henley Homes, it was abit more expensive at the time but we would be in there by now. Do not use Simmonds go with one of the other big companies, it will save you time money and stress in the future. Every time I drive past to check progress there is nothing happening for weeks and months on end, they blame it on a shortage of trades but all the other homes have trades working 24/7. STAY AWAY FROM SIMMONDS HOMES save money and stress

A builder from hell !My experience is extremely bad and frustratingI signed a contract with them Feb-2022My land was tittled on 27/04/2022Since then nothing was done at site !Even the slab is not poured!Customer service is the worst by farMy first home dream is a nightmare with this builder from hell

Wouldn't recommend this to my worst enemy. They are slack, lazy, terrible to communicate with and have made the entire process of building a home outright terrible. 10months have gone since signing the contract and they havent even begun building yet,consisting a years worth of rent almost.Disgusting work by such a big name builder. Literally go anywhere else.

Horrible company. Slow build, will not take any alteration requests. Even forgot to connect our Gas to the property at handover. Took 2 months before we paid ourselves for someone to do it and had to take them to VCAT to recoup costs. 2 successful VCAT cases in our favour against them and possibly pursuing a 3rd.Would recommend using absolutely anyone else.

nearly 3 monhs late and still going. the house looks good but i must say, there is no consideration for struggling families when it comes to these guys. A single mother with 4 kids, struggling to build my dream home, but met with unexpeted bills with their delays. i have also been met by a cold and aloof customer relationship lady throughout the whole time, never picks the phone but prefers emails. really sad for such a big company with a bad seeds. i just hope i dont lose my house because of simmonds. what a shame

Very poor communication. I was told that a consultant would contact me to discuss options and I never got an email or call. Pretty terrible service especially since I was the interested party who reached out to them. Who knows how many hundreds of thousands of dollars in business they've lost.

Disgusting Experience building house with Simonds. Given sales quote without going through the design guildlines by Sales Consultant Chandra Deep. He is the most fake person I have seen in my life. Once deposit is paid, he is not interested in honoring his commitments. Fake promises and lies what you get from this Sales Consultant. Given August Start document but house started in November. Tradies didn’t even know what upgrades I have selected. CRC is rude, unprofessional, poor on customer service & unfriendly. Don’t waste your money with Simonds. My first home experience turned into horrible nightmare. Cancelling last minute appointments and not answering my phone calls and voicemails you will get from their staff.“ AVOID SIMONDS BIG TIME”

Zero attention to detail, worse possible customer service. Poor and dodgy sales reps. Upper management is extremely inconsiderate and will charge you for anything and everything even if its before final drawings. will leave all essentials out of floor plans so when you end up adding them, they cost you fortunates.

Zero commitment to fix issues. One of the trades working on the Symonds built house next door damaged multiple fence posts, causing it to be unstable. Months of phone calls to rectify and still no response. When the June windstorm came through, the weakened fence fell, damaging our property and the adjoining gate. This finally made them organize to have the fence repaired.Promises were made to have the gate looked at/repaired, as it was on them to do so, and that they were going to supply paint to paint the replaced length of fence. Neither have been done, and all calls ignored, including emails sent to the responsible people by their own office. Wouldn't build with them even if they were my own option if this is their after-sales efforts.Edit: As requested, contacted the customer care email (twice now), 2 months ago - zero response to either email - not surprised considering their recent track record.Would strongly advise anyone planning on using Simonds to think carefully about their decision - Wouldn't be surprised if they treat customers like this once their 'duty of care' time is over.

dont build with simonds, i built with them 5 years ago only to discover water leak from the shower which affected tiles, walls, floorboards, they told me they would fix the issue and on a number of occasions they didnt turn up when they was suppose to making excuse after excuse saying they cant get no tradesmen in? after 3 months to fix a leak the final thing to get the floor finished only to be told now that they dont want to pay for it it is a constant battle with them i would not recommend them to anyone.
