Holm Oak Vineyards
Out of the dozen or so wineries open in the region we chose Holm Oak based on its Halliday reviews and they did not disappoint.The tasting experience here is friendly, welcome and generous. There’s a choice of flights pitched at various cost and taste levels and the more expensive choice was well worth it - especially as they were happy to offer a few extras if you were trying to lock in which chardonnay or pinot to purchase.No café here as such, but they do have a very good larder from which you can purchase reasonably priced cheese, meats and extras, and then snack on them at your table as you taste.There a nice view over the vineyards, a couple of dogs to pat, and great hosts.The perfect wine tasting experience.

Holm Oak Vineyards
Traveling from Oregon, USA wine country to Tasmania, Melbourne and Western Australia. The half dozen Holm Oak wines we tasted were outstanding across the board, each according to their varietal. This was the only Australian winery that had such a uniformly excellent presentation. Kudos to the Holm Oak winemaker!Fiona, our host, was knowledgeable and incredibly personable. She was both professional and fun. She knew her stuff but wasn't afraid to say when we were bouncing against the boundaries of her experience, or ours. Fiona made our day. Wonderful place for a picnic, too!Our only regrets are that we can't easily return or get Holm Oak wines here at home.

This place is lovely. There is an option for DIY cheese platter with anything from the shelf which is different and fun. They have a great wine collection. Staff are knowledgeable and friendly and also passionate about wine. Ordering online is also super easy and delivery is quick.

Excellent service and expansion of wine chosen. The make your own snack platter of local produce was delicious. We bought 8 bottle of whites and reds to be posted home to Brisbane. Thank you Bec.

Friendly and knowledgeable staff in a lovely setting. Dog-friendly. In addition to the wine tasting there is a selection of DIY charcuterie" available on site - grab your cheese

Holm Oak Vineyards
We went far out of our way to make it to Holm Oak, and it was totally worth it!! The scene is amazing, with great views all around. We lucked out with perfect weather and I think it would be great for kids, as there are other activities available outside of wine. The worst aspect is likely the single-person toilet and perhaps a bigger car park would help. The people that work there are friendly, knowledgeable, helpful, and fully invested in making sure everyone at the vineyard is taken care of in every way possible. We tasted several wines and got a cheese board with cured meats, which was reasonably priced.

Holm Oak Vineyards
We really enjoyed our visit to Holm Oak. They have a fantastic cellar door and some delicious wines to taste. The gorgeous Riedel Pinot Noir glasses were fantastic to drink out of. It was also nice to say hello and feed the pigs onsite after our tasting. A great spot - I'd highly recommend stopping in!

Great spot for a tasting, quiet peaceful setting and staff were absolutely lovely. Great wines, good price and the DIY cheese & wine charcuterie boards is a nice point of difference that supports local producers.Wander in the gardens and feed the pigs, could have stayed here for hours.

Really great tasting experience !Tasted 8 wines & selected cheeses & smoked ham & some deli items from the shop / pantry- all on the balcony.Ended up buying several bottles - loved the Pinot & ChardonnayRecommended
