I had to go very early by 7:45-8am or else there is a big queue.Fresh fish, but the staff does not listen to you.You can ask then to cut in curry pieces, when I got the fish it was uneven and had to cut at home.They will clean the inside stuff for you.Word of advice,Be early and preferably morningBring an extra bag, as sometimes the bag that they use to pack the cut fish leaks.Overall it's a good place , far from my home but still fresh fish is available.

Bought 4 huge spinner crabs $32/kg today. But we end up having one much smaller sized one which is selling for $15ish. The smaller one is not as fresh as those bigger ones as two legs fall off when we got home.

Best place in Springvale to buy seafood! The staff were friendly and the owner was very helpful with getting me the fish I was looking for. Overall, the prices are pretty cheap compared to the other markets in the area from what I've seen. I recommend going here if you want fresh fish!

This is an amazing place for fresh fish lovers. I would definitely recommend this place. Clean and nice. Crabs are little bit expensive. I generally go there every now and then.

Would never buy from them again. Went and got 3 kilos of three types of fish. Came home and opened the bag. Smell was rotten as hell. All the fish smelly and off. Zero freshness and poor storage I guess. Never ever. Had to put fish worth of $45 in rubbish bin. Not a good experience.

Waiting in line behind 2 other people when a man slyly pushed in front to the side of the counter to be served. One staff member allowed him to be served immediately? I approached the man and told him that he must wait his turn as customers were before him and that the staff member serving him was also aware of the situation. However the staff member continued to serve this arrogant, impolite man. The staff member prepared his order disrespecting those waiting in the queue? I was not happy that she ignored my plea, had no idea of manners manners, acting inappropriately towards everyone else waiting at the store? Finally after she finished she started serving me only because the two people in front of me started to complain in their own language. I knew they were not happy either! I was getting angry but this staff member really needs some customer service skills and requires to acknowledge good manners. So appalled by the lack of apology! I was served only to be told they had sold out. After having looked at the seafood I then noticed that some of the seafood wasn't even refrigerated!!! NEVER, EVER BUY SEAFOOD HERE!

Bought 2 baby snapper from here today. At least one of them smelt horrible out of the bag when I got home. Cooked them both straight away but could not shake the smell. Half of it went in the bin. I asked when I bought them if they had been caught this morning and was told they were freshly caught today. That was definitely not the case! Very disappointing first experience of a fish market in Melbourne. Beware...

Really good seafood at a great price and helpful staff! They recommended me some tasty fish to cook up for the family. Will be going back

Highly recommend the shop. Really fresh fish. They also provided me a foam box and some ice for no charge to keep the fish fresh as I told them i had a long wait time before I reached home.
