This is one of the best cellar doors I've ever been to. The guys were welcoming and friendly, and the wine was all delicious. Loved that they had some unique styles as well.

What a unique cellar door. The wines are incredible and it’s great that the actual winemaker is the one pouring your tasting! Beautiful view of the vineyards and it was so nice and warm on a chilly winter afternoon. The potato pizza is incredible and the pairing of the Chardonnay was perfect. Must do if your visiting McLaren vale. No pretentious wine talk - just back to the old school style of how customer service And quality food and wine used to be! I’ll be back!

Delightful way to spend a Saturday afternoon. The platters were great and the wine tasting very delicious. Would highly recommend. We loved the dog and the nautical chat from our hosts. We will remember Lazarus forever.

Absolute wee gem of a place. Was cruising around McLaren Vale on my bike and thought I'd just pop in to check it out... Ended up staying (and tasting) at least 4 hours! Andrew and Adam are both great blokes who like to share a yarn and their love of The Grape. Not so much a confession as an education! Will be back for sure.

Needing to confess our sins, we regularly attend several times a year for a bite of lunch & wine. This time brought UK friends who thoroughly enjoyed wines & atmosphere. Two varied styles of wine makers, something for everyone. The winemakers run the entire show themselves so can sometime be a little slow especially in a large group. Great discussion on wines, food small menu but scrumptious.............. potato pizza to die for.Wonderful way to spend an afternoon!

Lovely winery. Beautiful platter. Every wine we tried was enjoyable. Not often you can say you that all the wines you try are a pleasure to drink. White to red every wine was lovely You can talk to the owners of the cellar door. Lovely friendly people.We definitely will come back.Highly recommended.

An amazing place with amazing staff. If you're looking for a relaxing atmosphere with great service, The Confessional is the place to go. The staff have great conversations with you whilst you're there, and not to mention the free wine tastings. Overall a great experience and you can't forget the cute dog they have that you can cuddle with while drinking!

Best winery we visited in Adelaide Hills. Awesome service from 2 friendly blokes who had worked the industry their whole lives.Great wine knowledge and advice on the area, couple cheaky camping spots etc.AMAZING wine and cheese board.Hats off to em. Legends at their craft.

My partner and I came across this place by chance after the winery we intended to go to looked way to packed... We are so glad we did! The two hosts where both incredible blokes with great knowledge of the region and their wines. Free tastings from 14 wines to choose from with generous sized tastes. We bought a cheese platter which they where happy to make up a custom one for us and it was delicious! The place itself was lovely and we even got to meet the owners gorgeous big dog who was a sweetheart.In my personal opinion it was the best winery we went to throughout the Adelaide Hills and Borassa Valley wine regions.Excellent wines - 5 ⭐Excellent service - 5 ⭐Excellent food - 5 ⭐Thanks heaps guys!
