An absolutely exceptional experience. No fee no obligation experience. A tasting at Piggs Peake is a must in the Hunter Valley. From the moment we arrived we felt welcomed and valued. Jarrod met us at the door, presented us with a couple of beautiful Piggs Peake wine glasses and ushered us through the barrel room to our tasting table outside in the winter sunshine. We were then left in the very capable hands of James who with his quick and dry sense of humour and wealth of wine knowledge guided us through the extensive tasting menu. And wow the tasting was everything and more than we expected. Honestly exceptional wines, flavours, notes, colour, and inspiration in every glass. And when our tasting session was over, David took us on a wine crafting journey explaining the wine process and oak influences from the various types of barrels. My partner and I have tried many of the wine tasting offerings in the Hunter Valley and this for us takes the No. 1 spot. That’s not to mention their fully catered members parties in June and July. We purchased our 13 to the dozen deal on the spot. Thank you Piggs Peake for such a pleasant and informative experience. Special thanks to Jarrod, James, and David, you guys made the experience exceptional and memorable. We look for to catching up with you all at the Piggs party.

Absolutely lovely experience. The staff were very pleasant and knowledgeable. Directed us towards wines we would enjoy. Cute little cellar door with the tasting taking place on the winery floor. Highly recommend a visit.

This place never disappoints! Not only are the wines quality - but so are the staff. We had Clint as our wine guide, and he was amazing! He was knowledgeable about the wine and tailored the tastings to our palette. Thank you so much, can't wait to come back!!

My wife has been a member of the Lucky Swines club at Piggs Peake for some time now. The wines are marvellous. In fact we have a friend who no sooner walks through the door than asks if we are opening a bottle for him. We visited again the other day and spoke to the young man looking after the cellar door and he was very knowledgeable and extremely patient while my wife decided which wines she wanted. We were there to pick up her 13 to the dozen" specials. The grounds here are lovely and a restaurant has been added since we last visited. For wheelchair users please note that the car park is gravel and slopes up to the entrance way. So some push assistance may be required. Otherwise wheelchair access from car to cellar door is ok.Enjoy ;-)"

Wow! What an experience, simply mind blowing. It was just an honour to see the winery. Steve was amazing and showing us the process of wine making and sharing some great insights on wine producing and specially the secret fortified wine tasting. The man was on mission to tell us all about his passion of producing some amazing wine. I am not a wine drinker but he was successful in selling me some good quality wine and I will be back soon for more. Thanks mate for showing us the cellar and sharing your journey. Must visit winery in Hunter valley.

Amazing reds! Was recommended by two cellar doors about this place and boy oh boy we are glad we made the trip here. Tastings for the day were fully booked but we got a little lucky after waiting for awhile. Our group bought a dozen bottles (mostly pig breath and house of bricks Shiraz). Just being here and enjoying the reds made our ride to the hunter valley worthwhile. There is no need to go anywhere else. It is that good.

Nice winery with excellent wine. Came here because their semi-sweet wines were highly recommended. But also their Shiraz was excellent. Very nice ambience that allows to sit outside with our dog while my wife went wine tasting. They also offer some food options for a quick snack outside.Because Piggs Peake does not deliver/sell outside the winery, we came back already to restock on the excellent Sauvignon Blanc, the Shiraz and a really nice frizzante.
