Worst experince in my life. This is first nepalese restraunt without actually not having nepalese menu. Feels like it was more for foreigner. Tried momo full of onion and wrap uncooked. I will request google to give 0 star option rating.

Highly disappointed!I and my husband love food and we have been to so many nepalese restaurants in Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide but this one in Canberra has been our worst experience ever. Hardly nepalese food in the menu.I would not recommend this place to anyone specially if you are nepali please don't visit.Mustang Chicken Masala was disaster 4 peace of Chicken and 3 peace of capsicum no masala in it with red tomato puree tasteless. Palak Panneer tasted more like kasurimethi curry there were literally 3Spinach leaves in the curry who puts Spinach leaves just to show it is palak paneer didn't make sense and hell lot of kasurimethi.Chicken choila was bitter in taste.Momo's was bland.And food is pricey which is not worthy for food that is served.We saw people stepping out of restaurant after looking the Menu.We regret not stepping out.I hope owner takes the review on serious note and will bring good changes which is must.

It’s beautiful place to sit down and have homey food. Been lot of places to eat but never satisfied with thali so much. Thank you so much for wonderful food.

Amazing! Everything was perfect- from ingredients to temperature. Compliments to the chef. This is one of my top preferred restaurants in Canberra and is always a delight! My best recommendation would be the Malai Kofta and Samosas. Fresh, quality ingredients and a magically balanced combination of spices! You MUST try this restaurant!

We had a fantastic Nepalese meal at The Mustang Restaurant tonight for four people - brilliant friendly service and yummy meals with lots of flavour - I just can't understand any negative reviews about this place - it is a Canberra treasure!!! - give it a try you will not be disappointed.

The Mustang Nepalese Restaurant & Bar is an amazing place to visit. I have to say that the environment was great. The service was also friendly and attentive, and the food was absolutely delicious! The only downside is that the pricing is a bit steep, and they have a limited menu. Overall it was an enjoyable experience.

What a wonderful experience!! A warm hospitality. Grateful to Sushmita, who looked after our table. The food was one of the best nepali food we have tried in Australia. Absolutely love the place. Recommend and will surely visit again.

Lots of vegan options - a lot of the curries are dairy free.I had the Mustang Thali set which had rice, pickle, papadam and 3 curries - Dahl, aaloo bodi tama and vegetable kottu.Also Nepalese beers which were really nice and refreshing. Staff are lovely. They also do take- away and delivery.

The Mustang Nepalese Restaurant & Bar
We were unaware of this restaurant until a friend invited us, and we're very glad he did.The food was super good, everything well seasoned and the staff is incredibly friendly.A dinner for 4 with shared entrees and shared naans was around 40 per person and the portions were more than enough having a all ranges of people with different levels of appetite.We'll be back, for sure.Edit: still as good as. Tonight we all wanted to oky safe so we got the Momo dumplings as starter and the Tal as main. Goat, lamb, chicken, all superb. The cheese spinach naan is the cherry on top. We'll make it a regular thing. ☺️
