Xcape Melbourne

The experience was great at first our booking got delayed but then we can back later and she said we could have a free room she was a nice lady sometimes couldn't understand here English we lost the Jurassic room by 3mins. Then we went to the haunted prison which by far was the best one, it had communication tasks, avoiding lasers and even so cool blue light activity was great and recommend.

Really fun and tricky, innovative puzzles. Especially recommend the haunted prison. We asked to make the room harder- recommend doing so. Have done multiple escape rooms in Melbourne and this is one of the best.

Great place! The staff is very helpful. I discovered the Mausoleum Madness room and it was pretty good! The puzzles are a little tricky to solve without hints from the staff but it makes you think if thats what you're looking for! I wouldn't say it was scary but the clues and puzzles were great!

Absolutely loved it! We did two of them and it was brilliant: Jurassic Lab (hard puzzles to solve but somewhat 'classic' escape room), the second one 'Haunted Prison' is brilliant with very original puzzles to solve (team work required, coordination, logic, etc). It's a small place, but they have done a brilliant job putting together what I enjoy in an escape room. Good original problems to solve for. Have fun

Our escape room experience had to be rebooked as staff was getting tested for covid/close contact which is no one’s fault. Howevere since having to rebook for the rooms, we have emailed and call and yet to receive a response in regards to our rebooking. Poor communication.

Visited with 3 friends to do the Jurassic themed room. The room is rated a 5 out of 5 in difficulty, which we completed in under 20 minutes. The puzzles were so easy and straight forward and the rooms ambiance and decor are extremely lack lustre. When we exited the Jurassic room the woman working there was so surprised we finished so early and so she offered to let us do the mausoleum room for free which was nice. She was lovely and very kind. Again we finished this one quickly, the puzzles were a little more challenging than the Jurassic room. Some puzzles required a different way of thinking and give you the satisfaction of completing them but majority are really self explanatory and there’s not much required to solve them. The staff also give you clues without you asking for them and in our game she kept giving us a clue for a puzzle we had already solved which set us back a bit. If you like escape rooms I wouldn’t recommend this place, overall pretty disappointing and not a great experience.

Very good fun. We were even given an extra 15 on the first room due to being flustered, and the lady was extremely helpful!We did 2 out of 3 roomsThank-you.

Worst escape room I've been to. I'm not one to leave bad reviews, but don't waste your time

I have tried calling this place up several times and left messages and sent them a text message so we can book our daughters birthday voucher for an escape room but no replies or any callbacks. Does anyone else have this issue? We are really looking forward to trying it out but this is not a good start.

This was sooo good! We did two rooms and they are pretty hard, the haunted prison is one of the best escape rooms I've ever done (and I've done about 30+ rooms!) - don't let the poor reviews fool you, this is a great little spot for small groups!
