Pick whatever and pay for what you like. Easy simple Malatang, I love the spicy soup base. They have so many varieties of vegetables or meat for you to pick from. So you pick what you want to have in your soup/stir-fry, weight, pick soup base/stir-fry sauce and pay. I found it's slow around 15 to 20mins to get your food, so you have to make sure you are not starving before hands. When it's too busy, only 1 front of house staff that has to clean and not enough for many people that are waiting for tables. I went to get takeaway during lockdown, you pay 50c for container which if they are no dinein they should scrape it dont you think?

Ordered tomato soup, broth did not taste like tomato at all. They also use imitation scallops, not real scallops, very disappointed in that. And the person serving seemed unhappy and unfriendly

Overall experience was good! There were a variety of malatang toppings with many selection of condiments to go with it. I ordered the laksa soup and it was very delicious ! Only thing though is that the meat was quite chewy. Service was normal. The food came out relatively quick in around 5 minutes.I also really liked how there is a discount for buying malatang by downloading the Liven app. Highly recommend who would want a good filling meal that you can pay for $10.

Let's start of with the positives about this place.Food: Thoroughly enjoyed my dry spicy malatang with XO saucePaired with the sesame sauce + extra condiments it was amazingI would give my meal 4 stars based on the flavours.Here's where my experience with my friend and myself goes pear-shaped.Service: There is obviously something wrong with the ticketing system in the kitchen as they are either short-staffed or have a messed up system back there.My friend placed his order before mine, 5, then 10 then 20 mins go by and I decide to follow up on my order. Lady at the front is friendly and asks the kitchen where the orders at, so she says another 7mins. Another 10 minutes go by and my friend decides to follow-up on his order, we then wait at least another 5 minutes before I follow-up on my order.Lo and behold my order is finally ready before my friend WHO ORDERED BEFORE ME lol, he has to wait yet another 5-10mins before his order comes out.We waited UP TO 40mins to get a bowl of malatang - which is frankly a joke when it wasn't even a full house.They definitely lose 2 stars for the speed but the food was great.My friend said his soup malatang was average.The picture taken probably doesn't do my meal justice but if have 2 hours to spare for lunch then go for it otherwise I'd choose any other food place in that food court if you want to make it back to work on time :)

The Fun House is a great place to create your malatang meal as it has a wide variety of Chinese-based veggies and noodles, and delicious soups. I recommend you have it a go and see what you could create.As for customer service, I believe they are a bit short stock; however, as for the staff, they take care of the food and maintain the restaurant.I highly recommend bone soup if you don't want something spicy or have spicy soup with a little bit of a kick in it.

Great value for money Malatang inside District Dining. There is a large selection of ingredients to choose from and a good range of soup bases. We tried the bone broth, Laksa, tomato base and spicy chilli. The spicy chilli was our favourite. The unlimited condiments was also appreciated! Highly recommended!

Love the premise - pick all your fresh ingredients then get it weighed and cooked.

I love the spicy broth and the endless toppings! Yum! Customer service was also good! I paid less than $16.00! Cheap eats right there.
