The guys at the workshop are very professional and honest. Took my car in with power steering issues and it was sorted very quickly with no hassle. Definitely going to be using these guys again!

Excellent service & very impressive, top notch customer care from Dave. Reasonable prices too which was a big relief as I am on Disability. Ever since my Mechanic & trusted childhood neighbour passed on, it's been a challenge to find another Mechanic I can wholeheartedly put my trust in. I've been getting my car, as well as my wife's serviced at L&D for a few years now. The guys always have the car done on time, do a good job, leave it clean, and charge a reasonable price. I would definitely recommend them.

L & D were recommended to me by the engineers I work with. I've been getting my cars serviced here for 5 years now. Very honest, top job, good price & professional friendly guys to deal with.

You walk into a clean shed often with a neat and tidy classic car looking like it is getting a thorough look over, and whatever you asked them to do was done and that job is neatly done, I will give them that. The problem is I am not a Mechanic (trained or tapithead) so I don't know what to ask for, but when I hear a rattle or noise that doesn't sound right and ask 'can you look for that and fix it please, and you might need to road test to hear the issue because the sound is obvious when you drive it' I don't expect to pick up the car (on more than one consecutive occasion) to find the same rattle or noise still there with no explanation. So I drive out of town to my fathers (who is a retired Mechanic) and find some very obvious problems such as the CV boots busted wide open with nil grease that now require full replacement, that unmissable grinding sound in the front end being a bearing that has long since needed repacking, that loose steering being a steering arm that requires replacing (and the list continues with other safety issues that were continuously not diagnosed and fixed) all things you don't want to discover while in motion in traffic, let alone on a remote road going 100km/hr. When I took these matters to L&D the response was 'well you need to let us know what you want done to it so we can order the parts in' again I am not a Mechanic (trained or tapithead), if I were I wouldn't be bringing my car to a Mechanic in the first place. I don't recommend L&D to friends or family.

These guys are the best and 5 stars isn't enough! The most honest and nicest mechanics ever! I don't live anywhere near Kelvin Grove and never have but I have always made the drive to L&D to service my car. I have had the one car my whole life (since i was 17). It's now 15 years old and it's still going strong and Dave and others at L&D are the only one that have ever touched it.
