Great area with toilets and lots of flat grass to picnic on. Some shade, but not alot. Plenty of accessible smooth shoreline, great for the kids.

Went there at night as part of astronomy group as this is a dark sky sight it has boat ramps bbq and toilets so very family friendly just depends on the height of the water in lake hume it can be close or a long way off

Beautiful area, boat ramp access to weir, great new bathrooms with a good mobility accessible one, 2 new modern looking BBQ areas, lots of seating, only two undercover.
