Very reasonable detour from main circuit. Just down the road from the Red dog statue and welcome to Dampier sign.

A good spot for a stop. Great views down over the foreshore and the harbor. There's a couple of picnic tables there and a bbq. Also another statue of Red Dog.

Nice view. Easy drive. Easy parking spots. See the salt piles and some port wharfs.
