Wildflower viewing
While visiting Greenbushes in Oct 2021, my wife and I were told by a local about a good spot for wildflowers. The next morning, we followed his directions and in a cleared wooded area we found an oasis of wildflowers of all varieties. An amazing selection of wildflowers and orchids were on display and more were still in bud. The cleared area is on private property so please respect the land owner’s rights and do not trespass. The carpets of plants overflow onto the roadside verge and can be viewed and photographed from there. This is a fairly quiet road so not too much traffic to walk along the verge safely. Well worth the visit.
