Sheoak Picnic Area
Perfect picnic setting surrounded by tall eucalypt trees, cool fern gullies and a classic walking 'hub' with a range of walks leading to the iconic Otway waterfalls such as Henderson, Won Wondah, Kalimna, Sheoak, and Phantom Falls. Castle Rock walk provides stunning views over the Great Ocean Road.

Such a beautiful picnic area, there are plenty of tables, bbqs and also toilets. There are lots of lovely waterfall walks from here too. The only downside is that the parking is a bit limited so if it was busy you might not get a spot.

A little out of the way from Lorne on a formed track" that has some good sections and then some terrible ones! Picnic area is open woodland

Beautiful place...lots of tracking paths to sheok Falls, Henderson Falls and others.It's quite far so connection issue is there.BBQ area is there lots of sitting area as well but no drinking water so bring your water.

Splendid picnic grounds! Various forrest types, rivers, birds, bridges, gas BBQ, many tables and parking spots. Facilities, but bring drinking water.Bucket load of walking tracks to numerous waterfalls start and end here. Great spot for the whole family for hours of activities.

Great location to come for a picnic and walking. There are quite a few tracks that start from here or close by. Well maintained and can get busy over weekends, but definitely worth a visit... or 10..

Nice picnic area with BBQ's, tables and plenty of space. Great walking tracks up to the falls. We found it a bit crowded but that's what you get if you're close to civilisation. Overall a nice spot though

A really picturesque picnic ground. Lots of space, good clean toilets. The nature walk is worth doing, if not only to enjoy nature but to listen to the birds!

Sheoak Picnic Area
Amazing place for a Barbeque! Very calm and peaceful. Even the toilets were well maintained with all necessary amenities. Really impressive. This place has a gas facility for barbeque.
