Blanchetown Caravan Park

We love staying in this caravan park situated in such a beautiful part of the world, right next to the magnificent Murray River.The owners always find the time to stop for a chat or a piece of advice, it was always a pleasure to talk to them, they really do their best to ensure their guests feel comfortable and welcome.They spend a lot of time and money on cleaning, tidying up and also on all kind of upgrades, such as the awesome undercover inflatable trampoline which we all loved and spend quite some time jumping on. We understood that there will also be a large LCD screen installed next time we’ll be there, with lounging area around for the parents, we are looking forward to that.Our son and myself also loved the pool, kept very clean and tidy, situated centrally in the park.Even though is not large, it gave us plenty of room to cool off, play and jump into the water, or sit in the shade and talk over a cup of coffee.Another fantastic activity all of us loved to do was kayaking, not on the big river but in the park’s back waters. The best time to go we found to be late in the afternoon when all the birds come back to nest for the night. We just rowed quietly through the vegetation and had an awesome time observing all the birds, watching the sun go down and having a great family time.We had an awesome stay, it was our second and definitely not the last, we cannot recommend Blanchetown Caravan Park highly enough, we are looking forward to our next stay which we hope is not going to be too far in the future.

This was one of the nicest parks we have stayed in., It is a work in progress but the owners Adam and Carol are doing a great job, ( they are a special couple ) we spent five days here and enjoyedevery minute it is clean and tidy with a lot of thought going into the development of the park

Hi I've previously lived in SA stayed in blanchetown with a mate, and got stuck in NSW when covid shut boarders now they open came back to collect my gear but mates not home tryed ringing 3 times TO BOOK IN, left message and still had no reply or phone call back and they say on recording YOUR CALL IS IMPORTANT TO US, WELL GET BACK TO YOU, can't want much business how many others tryed calling aswell to book in

Stopped here for the night seems a great place we arrived just on lockup time but they opened up to let us stay we can't say much about telstra service seems it's letting the owner down bad for a week or so.

The owners are very friendly the go above and beyond to make your stay welcoming.the Park is clean and tidy with green grass lawns they are right on the river front. glad we went there

Stayed on a powered site for 2 nights. Good points about the park are. Large sites, Park not far from the river. Owner very nice and a nice shop with takeaway. The reason for 2 stars are. No filtered water which you are not told about whilst booking or anywhere on the their website.Its straight out of the river (yuk) There are no drains on the sites for your grey water so it just goes on the ground next to your van. I have never come across this before in a park. Most of the park is dirt roads and sites, so its very dusty. The park has many onsite privately owned vans which a few have noisy tenants. There is meant to be no noise after 11pm but the people near us had no respect for anyone else and played music until after 1 am and talked loudly. They even had 2 large dogs in the pool swimming. That shows how much respect they have for park rules. So if you don't mind noise late at night and you have a boat or a jetski you would more than likely love the location and the park.

Lovely park, great, easy going managers. Park *itself* is quiet with a good vibe" and other users friendly. The highway runs around two sides of the park

Friendly, excellent overnight stay neat and tidy facilities although old.Not grass sites.Privately-owned 18 months ago slowly updating and what has been done as good. Has toddlers pool, swimming pool and jumping pillow.$35 2 adults per night $25 for site only self contained. Seniors discount available

Horrible place to stay this easter weekend 2021.people in the middle of the park very loud yelling and carrying on drunk.its a pity the owners dont tell them to be quiet because ppl in the van park always seem to complain about the shacks behind them. Its seems rules good for one and not the others..

Toilets and showers are clean. Pool is nice! Not a big place but good for cabin or caravan. Camping next to the creek is nice but road is nearby and it's loud at night because of the trucks. Unluckily a house next to the camping is full of id**** playing loud music until late (1.30 am), but that's not the owners of the caravan park fault :( if you camp away of them all good!! Owners are nice enough to help us out with the loud neighbours and they offered solutions. Fair enough and happy with them.
