The shop is very clean and full of good quality antiques. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable. They have lovely jewellery and plenty of unusual things that would make great gifts. The price matches the quality.

Dear Sirs, am amazed at a revue i have just read regarding Avoca Antiques.I am one of the few remaining suppliers to the trade of antique and estate jewellery all around Australia and have been involved in that way with this company for over 30 years and 3 generations of the family who own the business. Over that time i have supplied them with thousands of items from around the world, antique jewellery and silverware ect, to deal with this amount of goods over this amount of time you have to have knowledge and integrity, which they have . I have no idea what the problem is with the people who wrote the previous revue, however i would say that it's very easy to level an anonymous charge.Avoca Antiques have been supplying the local community of both Beecroft and Avoca for many many years, no company is infallible that's for sure, however if they had a problem that was of their making they would have fixed it.Why only 4 stars. This beautiful shop is a step back into history. The family orientated customer service is warm and very friendly. The amazing array of jewellery is quaintly amplified by the delicate pieces of Sterling Silver and antique China. Love love love visiting whenever I'm on the coast.

I’m an art dealer and collector and I arrived at 4:15 pm to the store to purchase a ring and was told by the sales staff they were closed, even though online it says 5 pm. Apparently, they close at 4:30 in winter, so we still had 10 minutes to make the purchase; however, the staff members prioritised going home early instead. Very disappointing, considering we drove a long way. I’d advise anyone to ring ahead as the store seems to pick and choose their hours and who they serve based on when it suits them. They had a beautiful collection and it was a shame to not be able to see it.

Excellent antique store, good price and range Staff was lovely and helpful but not fake fawning, highly recommend leaving the highway for this little gem of a shop.

Fantastic jewellery collection, including a 2,000 year old Roman ring found in the river Thames (not for sale). All the antiques jewellery in the store is absolutely beautiful, a long with a large collection of cutlery sets, a good portion of which are made from silver. Only issue being the price range. Do not expect to spend less than $100 on an item, as this is pretty much the bare minimum your going to find. If you don't have a good $500 to spend on jewellery, I wouldn't recommend this place.

I have been a customer of the ladies at Avoca Beach Antiques for years now. They are lovey, a such a pleasure to deal with! Given their comprehensive knowledge and experience of history and antiquities I highly trust and value their expertiese.They are always happy to show and tell a story about an object of interest, or offer mysyery items to guess.A beautiful little walk into history. A true pleasure to visit.

As a local, and have made many purchases, I was very unimpressed. Lady was serving another customer, that's fine, however I was not acknowledged at all, not even a hello, I'll be with you in a minute.... I work in hospitality and THAT is how you handle that situation. Lost my money!
