This place is like the home of the hair angels! They have done an absolute amazing job with my colour. It was an entire day job to remove previous colour, bleach, treat and recolour but I came out looking and feeling fantastic!Their blow dry’s are freaking amazing every time and they last for ages in my hair!Their knowledge about hair repair is honestly second to none. My hair is beginning to bounce back from its dry state ready to jump back in for about round of colour corrections and fun!

My first impression of this business was pleasant. The staff were very polite, friendly and accommodating. I made a last minute booking to have my hair coloured (lifted) from burgundy red to a lighter brown, in order to get to a dark blonde in a future session. I was seen by Selena, a senior stylist at orbe Norwood, who is very skilled and has a professional attitude towards her clients. Despite the difficulty of the colouring procedure, she did very well and I was satisfied with my hair on this visit… so I rebooked. By the time my next booking arrived it was my birthday and my hair had turned copper orange. I was told I would be booked with a different stylist, she was far less experienced which I wasn’t aware of. I asked for blonde balayage and a toner for the orange, a fairly lengthy process however I had made sure to book early that day and I was assured that I would be out on time to attend my birthday dinner. Two stylists worked on doing foils in my hair advised from across the salon by Selena. 5 hours go by and the bleach is washed out and my hair is partially dried to inspect the results of their work. It was not right at all, they had wasted 5 hours for Selena to have to do it ALL again. By this stage I’m beginning to panic. Not only about the fact that I was now going to be late to an important event that I was very excited about, but the damage that had been done to my hair by these two stylists. In total I spent 8 hours in the salon and was an hour late to my event and kept all of my guests waiting. I had to go straight to the venue from the salon, missed my makeup appointment and was extremely under dressed. To rectify the situation I was given a small sample of hair treatment and a mentos. A spit in the face after spending over $1000 dollars and roughly 18 hours over two visits to their salon. My hair is completely ruined. It is extremely damaged and brittle, very orange and has lost its curl. I ended up having to cut over 8 inches off my long hair, and when I saw a different stylist at a new salon to have it cut, it was so bad she thought that I had bleached it myself at home.Extremely disappointed.

Visited Orbe this afternoon for a blow dry with Marni. She was wonderful and the best blow dry I have ever had. Thankyou Ida for making it all possible.

I was recent customer at Orbe North Adelaide as I was recommended to go there by a friend to see Tara, instead of going to Orbe Norwood and had to ask for special permission to move my vouchers across. The way I was dealt with and treated at Orbe North Adelaide by the owner Tara who was the only hair stylist at this Salon was appalling and rude I was extremely upset both times I left this salon due to the way Tara treated me, kept ignoring very basic requests and spoke down to me. Firstly I booked in for a 15-20min consultation I was asked a few times what I wanted to which I advised I was open to suggestions on cut & colour. She made NO suggestions instead kept asking what I wanted so I showed her a picture of one of my past cuts and colour that I would be happy with it, she also opened Pinterest and asked me to point out what I liked. I pointed out 2 similar cuts & showed her the color on the picture which she never made note of and kept making excuses on what she could and couldn't do with the color and not being clear till the last minute. I said usually hair dressers are able to give me some insight into what will look good on my hair and she still didn't have any suggestions. On the day of my appointment she also decided it was going to cost $380 for a cut, root color and basic highlights which was also way more that she originally quoted me. I once again pulled up the pictures to confirm what she was doing and said I understood that even if the color didn't match perfectly that atleast that it would look somewhat close which she confirmed it would. When she finished neither the cut nor the color were even close to what she asked me to point out in pictures the cut itself was terrible I have taken several pictures after. Her response to this was 'well this is better than what you came in with isnt it and laughed. After I left I showed several friends and other hair dressers was told the cut itself was extremely uneven and resembles nothing from the pictures that she asked me specifically to show her. I called back and advised that I was unhappy that I would do the right thing rather than just giving them a bad review and give her a chance to rectify it

Best colour ever, hands down. Do not expect to be left sitting with your foils on praying you haven't been forgotten and do expect your requests to be taken seriously. I brought in a photo and Aisha (I hope that's how you spell your name!) worked hard and 100/100 achieved what I had asked for.Thank you guys (esp Aisha but everyone was so nice), keep up the good work. Glad I'm a local to your salon now!

The lovely ladies at orbe treated me like an absolute princess! Big thanks to 'Lacey' for my lovely locks! Each step of the way they made sure everything was exactly what I was looking for, and I came out feeling a completely new person. I cannot rate this place any higher!! 11/10 A++

I’m extremely disappointed to have had my hair length shortened when I asked for it to not be. Subsequently my hair cut looks like that of an aged housewife. I never asked for this and I’m actually crying because I’m so embarrassed about how I look.Hairdressers need to listen to clients because clients then have to deal with the result. I’m uncomfortable now. Which is totally unfair.I was also GROWING my hair and I told the hair dresser. She still removed length = to months of growth. And worse I paid $120 to have my hair butchered and uneven.

i got a colour and cut with lacey and she was so amazing!!! i left with exactly the style i wanted!! i had no idea that my pre-existing colour wouldnt lift out, but she worked around that so so well and was able to match my roots and ends to a really gorgeous blush pink! and then the hair cut was also really lovely. i got a whole lot of length off and my fringe trimmed, and its beautiful! couldnt be happier (: definitely coming back!
