Sadly the quality of the food has declined a little since previous visits. Still the best option for fish and chips at Point Lookout. Very friendly service.

Delicious burgers, fish, calamari and fries. Reasonably priced and fresh ingredients.Best to take-away as there's not much outdoor seating. Not open past 3pm due to staffing and maybe because it's low season? (Feb 2023)

Disappointing: Told my friends how great this place was, not this visit. $2.50 each for potato scallops that came half cooked and greasy and not nice to eat. Perhaps if the staff were less keen to pack up early and paid attention to customer service and providing a quality product!!

Quick review: Amazing! Fresh! And good ValueRecommend! Give it a shot!We got 2x $12 special packs, and surprised to say it’s been the best thing we have had on the island, and at the best value here.1 piece of cod (yum) and 3 calamari with chips the perfect size for 1.We really weren’t sure if we were going to go after some of the reviews we saw but let me tell you the 2 young ladies were lovely and polite and well the food was some of the best fish and. Chips we ever had.Monday lunch on the beach was perfect. Sorry about the half eating photo but it was to yum to stop

Visiting Straddie for the week, and just dropped by today for some lunch. Staff were really lovely, very friendly, and the food tastes fantastic! Happy we came across this place

Decent fish & chips and love that the chips come with chicken salt. Disappointing that you have to pay extra for the sauces though.Huge lineup at the store but you don't need to wait too long for your food to be ready.Wasn't aware that I had to pay a surcharge for using credit card until after I paid as there was no signage except for a tiny sign on the card machine. Would have been nice to have been told, especially if you're not from Australia.

I will definitely return! I bought a lot of food and ate all of it. The CHIPS! So crunchy and crisp, and soft inside. The battered fish was perfectly moist and sweet. Calamari had exactly the right texture. Slices of lemon, yes! I also bought a tub of bbq sauce to go - it was AMAZING! Plummy and piquant.

Everything was so delicious! The fish burger is definitely one of the best I’ve had and the fish, calamari and chip special is great value for money. Would definitely recommend!
