Instyle carpets and flooring

I engaged Scott to install flooring in my granny flat. The job was started , I had some questions regarding the Job. Scott stopped taking my calls. We later agreed via text messaging to cancel the contract and he will refund my deposit paid minus an amount for work already done. I am still waiting for my refund. He is not answering calls. Department of fair trade has been unable to make any contact with this business and will now go for a formal process of recovery. I had another contractor attend an complete the job. I have been trying to contact Scott Matthew Nattrass who is the registered owner of the Business. To no avail. I have tried to contact him through his registered address at Swansea Accounting , to no avail. Legal action to follow. i regret ever having any dealings with this guy. I made contact with him through one flare, they are not prepared to offer any assistance in recovering my money.

The hardest part was choosing the colour.The team of installers were on time and worked efficiently to have the floor down within the day and included the kitchen, family/dining rooms, hallway and entrance. The team were super friendly, and accommodated us inside the work space (including the kids after school).I highly recommend Scott and his team for this high quality product, installation and finish. OMG absolutely love our new floors. Scott and the team at InStyle we’re fantastic to deal with. They helped us find the perfect floors for our home and family. I would highly recommend them to anyone.

DO NOT USE !We would rate 0x stars if able.Scott promises a high quality of workmanship, going so far to promise he will oversee the installation, then proceeds to send a few disgruntled labourers to install flooring (unsupervised).Several major defects from installation (one which my youngest daughter cut her foot open on), have been totally ignored.I have a long paper trail which I am looking forward to using against Scott in a forthcoming court case.

Flooring installed was not appropriate for the job, sub floor was not levelled correctly, calls were not answered or returned, no responsibility was taken. Use of this business, it's owner and installers is not recommended
