Attended the high tea today for a birthday celebration and it was awesome! Great food, fantastic service and plenty of value. Could not fault the scones, Axil coffee or the delicious sandwiches. Yum!There were over twenty people on our table and everyone commented on how lovely the afternoon was.$55 with bubbles is a bargain….the General is going to be very busy on Sunday afternoons!Thanks to Glenn, Mel and the team! Absolutely wonderful x

Ok it was Anzac Day so I probably didn’t catch them at their best. Took an hour from walking in to getting our food. Two things on the menu we ordered were off. The waiting staff were a bit disinterested and off. There are infinitely better places on the high street

This morning we were stranded by another café when we'd previously booked for 11 (!!) people to celebrate my dad's birthday. We turned up to the café being closed due to short staffing and no call to let us know.I rang Lilydale General straight away and they very kindly made some room for us - we turned up 10 minutes later to a set table and menus ready. Delicious coffee and food came out promptly, even though the café was quite busy. We had a lovely time - thank you :)

Delicious food and amazing coffee! Loved being able to sit outside and being able to bring our dog along. Great friendly service from all the staff. Highly recommend.

Lovely cafe, good variery and choice in the menu and well presented food. They often have different specials and other items available.The workout gym above is sometimes a bit loud (banging on the floor) and this teamed with the industrial feel of the cafes internal decor can make the venue quite noisy during busy times.Large outdoor open seating area is great with good shade coverage, but also can be loud as it's near the road.

I got the Vegan Sushi Bowl, what a surprise! Very delicious and I highly recommend it! It was $20, not something the average person can afford daily but worth a go and satisfies the craving!
