Beautiful, free, firepits, freshwater running creek to refresh and swim in.It's a must stop over when doing Cape York trip!Try and arrive before 4pm as spots fill quickly during peak times for Cape York travellers.

Good place to stop and cool off or stop and camp a night, there are a good number of camping spots on the river, depending upon the time of year as to how much water is there, the tracks in can be rough but are mostly drivable with a little caution. Coen is only a few kms away. All in all a decent spot
