Shoe Repair Stop Plus

Fixed my shoe on the spot at short notice as I had to catch a flight, did a great job and was cheerful about doing it. Read the other reviews, hopefully he has listened and taken them onboard...who knows. I can't complain.

DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE!!! ABSOLUTE BULLY!! RUDE OLD MAN. I went to go ask for the price of a car key battery replacement, he didn't even smile or say hello, just a stone cold stare. I had initiate the conversation. Most workers will say hello with a smile and ask what u need. He was cold from the start of our interaction. Was not welcoming at all. He wanted to fix the key without telling me the price first, like i felt as though i was being forced into handing my key over because he was agressive and almost threatening while sticking his hand out for the key, i felt as though he would have snatched it out of my hand had ive been closer to the counter. I didn't hand it over. When I enquired further, he told me the it was $20, I said it was a bit pricey for a battery replacement. He immediately cut me off and said bye

I was asking the old male staff member if they did key-cutting for a small key that I had, but they just pulled it out of my hands and started cutting the key without telling me how much it actually costs.Afterwards, they told me that it was $8, when the regular price is around $3 or $4 elsewhere, but I decided that it was too late to argue now, since he's already cut the key.However, when I tried to pay, he didn't accept card since he couldn't be bothered to turn on the card machine. He pointed me to the St George Bank next door and demanded that I withdraw cash from the ATM to pay him.In the meantime, he pretty much held my whole set of house keys and car keys as hostage until I paid up.Overall, it was quite a terrible experience and despite the convenient location, I would rather go somewhere else.

worst customer service - extremely rude and arrogant old grumpy man. Made such an issue out of enquiring if he could engrave a ring, he ended up 'shooing' me away when I asked if he was confident engraving my wedding band. I wouldn't go near this shop with a 10 foot pole.Instead I went to mister minit on level 5 and they exceeded my expectations! Don't waste your time with this joke of a shop, head to level 5 instead!

Needed to tighten my RM Williams belt and place an extra hole - this is the guy to go to.I see other reviews - ignore the other Karen Reviews - this is a Business man with 30+ years of experience - he is forward and direct and does it all by himself.Cash is preferred - in a world where the banks charge a percentage on merchants prices I can understand why.Cost was inexpensive, service was to RM Williams quality.Thank you John.

Very rude cranky old man close your shop if you don’t want to serve your customer’s respectfully

Avoid at all costs! Charged $2 for 4 rubber bands! The person coerces you to pay in a rude and threatening way. Filing a complaint with consumer protection.

Like mostly everyone else in this review section, this is my first time experiencing a horrible service.The old gentleman is extremely il-mannered and racist. Immediately said no in the rudest and threatening way, barely gave a look at my key or gave any explanation when I asked if he could cut a simple key for me.
