Taxi Combined Devonport

Pre booked over 12 hours in advance, was guaranteed a priority pick up. No can arrived, no one contacted us, leaving us to travel over 4km with 40kg of luggage to the boat terminal as not to miss our cut off time.When I contacted the company, I was informed other jobs had been taken instead of ours & the 1 driver they had working was not responding.0/10, no reliable cab service in Devonport.

Ordered service for pick up at restaurant. Taxi drove past, didn’t even look around for us and before you know it, he took off. We tried to call and the service said they were ‘searching’ for a taxi to pick us up. We Stood out there and froze for ages. Ended up booking a different service who were wonderful. I was hesitant booking them in the first place due to their poor reviews, but given the service we had it’s easy to see why. The guy who drove past us looked like Santa wearing an Akubra….. probably a blessing in disguise. I highly recommend that you don’t use this service.

My driver was on time. She knew where to go. Helped with the luggage. I was very pleasantly surprised as I'd read ALOT of negative reviews (and rightly so!) about the taxi services in Devonport.

Last night my husband and I were going out for drinks at a friends place. I called up at 2PM yesterday afternoon and made a booking for a 4pm taxi there and a midnight taxi home. The 4PM taxi was fine, it only arrived 10 minutes late. The midnight one however, we waited outside until 12:15AM, then called them up only for them to say that having a booking doesn't create any priority and that they're busy and one will be with us as soon as possible. Mind you it was raining pretty bad. We decided we didn't want to wait and walked home in the rain. I got a text message at 1:20AM saying our taxi had arrived, an hour and 20 minutes after our booking. How is that acceptable?

If I could give this a negative rating I would, unacceptable service. After being told that a taxi was on the way twice and waiting for nearly and hour and a half. Grubby taxi drivers just care about their take for the night not who has been waiting the longest, this business is beyond a joke.

Wheelchair taxi booked for 11.15 didnt show until an hour later. The 100 yr old lady attending lunch with her friends was well and truly late.Disgraceful!!

Absolutely unreliable! We arrived at the Devonport Sea Terminal and had a Maxi can booked with them as we were a group of 6 with luggage.But when the driver came to pick us up 30 mins late - he outright refused that he ever had a booking with us because he spotted another couple who wanted to go to Launceston and our trip was within Devonport to our hotel. This is not just terrible on a customer satisfaction/business level but simply greedy and pathetic behaviour.

I booked before I left Melbourne airport waiting over an hour past the pick up time not acceptable. Could probably get a taxi from Launceston quicker.

Called to get a taxi at 5:30pm to go from Quoiba (where the company is based apparently) to Devonport. 10 min drive. Lady on the phone was friendly but couldn't tell me how long it would be but said there's a few drivers around. After half an hour I called up and they were still looking for a driver to pick us up. Driver never came after 1 hr so we hitched a ride instead. Pretty disappointed especially because we were stranded after our car broke down and all we wanted was a simple taxi ride.

Trying to obtain some help, the unskilled management make up fantasy laws as not to assist visitors to Devonport. Tasmania must be flourishing with visitors as not to assist guests to their state. Well done!
