Flick Pest Control Newcastle

We built our home 12 years ago and have used Flick for our warranty every year. They have always been professional, on time and given a full report to us. Highly recommended. This year Ryan B did our inspection he was polite, pleasant and professional explaining what he observed and a real plus to the company.

I have been using this company for many years now, last year I was told to continue receiving the 12 month warranty I had to sign up to pay monthly instalments rather then just paying for the service up front! Weird but ok I did it, I then realised money was still being taken from our account after the 12 month payment period and I had no phone call to re book another spray like I have received for the past 6-7 years, the lady I spoke to in Newcastle I asked her if I could book in a full spray and you take the 4 months off my bill that you had taken from my account and she said no she could only do 1 month free ( hilarious it’s not free I already bloody paid) This is criminal you can not take peoples money without completing a service. You are ripping people off and at a time like this it is absolutely disgusting and I hope more people start to realise you are just taking advantage of them! I will never use your services again and I will be talking to fair trading!Still waiting for Newcastle area manager to call me back a week later!

Do not use this company, do not enter into a direct debt contract with this company. This is the most unprofessional misleading contract I have ever entered.This company put the onus on you to contact them to cancel your direct debt with them or they will continue to charge and take money from your account for a service that you are not using.I have asked to be refunded for the amount of which they continued to take from my account with absolutely no confirmation from me. When I contacted and asked to be refunded I have been blown off by at least 2 managers for over a month.PLEASE STAY AWAY FROM THIS BUSINESS!!

Ethan provided a great service. He was on time and efficient. Very happy with the pest control Flick has provided us for the last couple of years.

Ryan Ballard was extremely polite, informative, & knowledgeable. He was friendly & happy to answer any questions I had.

I have had a terrible experience with this company. They have not provided any of the advertised services for the peace of mind plan. When I rang to cancel my subscription they charged another month (a week after my schedule payment) by mistake, I hope by mistake. I have requested a refund for that incorrect payment, and for the 12 months period where I received no service from this company.Flick pest control please don't ask me to email you, check your emails and respond to me.Update- 3 weeks after sending my first email and I am still be ignored 5/5/23

Jordan has given us 5 star service for a long time now. He has always been honest, reliable and gives very good feedback.He is always helpful and looking for ways yo improve our business hygiene.

I used their service in Sept 2021 for a termite inspection. I was told that there is a COVID offer for a direct debit of $20 a month for 12 months. I agreed for that and the job was done. In Jan 2023 I realised that an amount of $ 20.99 is still getting deducted from my account without my permission. I gave permission for direct debit only for one year. When I checked with the Newcastle shop, they told me that they send me an email last August to renew the service and I did not reply to their email, hence the money is still deducting. I can say that this is cheating money. They should have gained permission from me to deduct money from my account after the agreed time of one year.Please be careful with such cheating.Highly NOT recommended.

I have no complaints about the pest service. It was effective and performed by a professional and respectful technician.However, I am in disbelief as I have discovered Flick has continued to take monthly payments for two months past the 1 year was up. It could have gone on endlessly had I not realised and called them. Beware of this business.A simple phone call on completion of my 12 mth contract would have been a more transparent and fair way to deal with customers. As I didn't see the email they sent, and I didn't respond they continued to take payments. So they were aware there had been no second service provided but somehow they felt justified in taking payment. Apparently it is not possible for them to refund also. Unbelievable!

UPDATE: AVOID AVOID AVOID - Continue to deduct money after cancellation, refuse to refund excess payments, lie about there being a minimum 60 day cancellation, when there is no such clause in the terms. When caught out lying, incorrectly refer to unrelated clauses in the Terms.DO NOT Sign up for their Home Protection Plan. They don't notify you when the plan has expired and then continue to deduct the monthly payments. When you finally realise the contract has actually expired and try to cancel the plan, you can't because you need to do it in writing and they don't provide the contact details to comply. When you finally do try to cancel it, they refuse to refund the extra unused payments, saying the terms don't allow refunds. In my case I was over $100 out of pocket. This practice should be illegal, give me my money back Flick.
