Kip Broadview Dog Daycare

We found KIP on the internet, searching for a place to put our dog whilst we visited no dogs allowed places, eg, Granite Island and the Botanic Gardens. Sarah greeted us and, after much consideration, agreed to trial our dog right then . Fortunately, he responded well and was looked after by KIP for the 3 days. We were very blessed also to be included in the 3 day special, so our total cost was $82. So thank you from us and our 14yr standard Schnauzer.

Fantastic experience. We took our dog in for a trial day, and the team were lovely and had all the time in the world for all my questions. We got photo updates mid-morning and a report card at the end of the day to show how the day went. Thoroughly recommended.

Great staff who are actively looking out for the dogs' well being. You get heaps of feedback about what happened throughout the day. My pup absolutely loves going to daycare here. Shout out to Sarah who welcomed us on the first day and took time to chat about concerns and goals.

So well looked after and transparent. you can even see into a play pen from admin. They do fun activities during the week. This is my boy there for a pool party theme

We took our Groodle (Dudley) in for a trim and wash – on delivery we were complimented on how well his coat was maintained, only to leave devastated and shocked at the final result. Before Dudley went in we explained that we didn’t want him shaved to the skin, just some of the hair taken off. We then received a rude call from the groomer to say that he was full of mats and that he needed to be shaved completely, and our dog needs to be cleaned and brushed more regularly - which shows that your groomers must not have any clue what they are doing nor qualifications as he is frequently washed and brushed including the night before. When we collected Dudley we were not allowed to see him unless we paid. The cut Dudley was given shouldn’t even be considered ‘grooming’ he was shaved completely back to his skin, patches in places, he was cut in both of his ears (which continuously bled), he has an ear infection from the soap as the right precautions were clearly not taken when ‘grooming’ his ears. He was left with cuts all over his stomach, his whiskers were also completely taken off. They also over cut his nails which caused him great distress. They returned Dudley without his collar and when we asked for it back they basically said we were lying and didn't bring him in with one. Later we received a call saying they found it with No apology for rude accusations, injuries or poor cutting. This experience ended in us taking Dudley to the vet. We will be making sure we never return and making sure to pass the word on as we wouldn’t want any other dog going through something as distressing and painful as our dog. This not only was a bad experience of poor service and grooming but it also borders on abuse. Please refer to below pictures of injuries and Dudley before & after the cut.

We have been taking our dog Fenway" to Kip since he was 4 months old. He absolutely loves it and is excited from the moment we arrive. The team do a fantastic job in looking after him during the day and provide him with the socialisation

Kip Broadview is one of the best doggy daycares that we’ve seen. Ralphie was very happy after his first visit. Staff and manager are nice and friendly. The manager is lovely, accomodating and very understanding. They even did a thorough first day behavioural assessment of our dog which contained important information. We’re very happy to have found this place. Highly recommend.
