Coastwide Driving School

Coastwide driving school is brilliant! My son had lessons with Michelle, who is an outstanding Instructor, and I couldn’t possibly rate her higher, she is amazing. She is so calm and professional and really connects with younger people. She went above and beyond to accommodate our family availability with bookings, and all the bookings and payments were so easy and streamlined.My son got his P1 license today, and I will definitely be asking Michelle to teach my next child when the gets old enough to learn to drive.If I could give more than 5 stars I would!Thank you Michelle and Coastwide Driving School !!!

Excellent driving school. It was easy to book lessons, and the packages offered were reasonably priced. Everyone we dealt with (mainly Barry, who was teaching my child) was lovely and professional. Highly recommend Coastwide Driving School!

This company refused to honour a gift certificate given to my daughter. Gift certificates last three years in Queensland, but this company refuses to honour the certificate. Their view is that they want to keep all the money on the certificate while providing no services to the customer. The certificate is only two years old and is valid for another 12 months. We are taking them to Fair Trading because somebody has to keep driving school operators accountable. Their claim is that it was a special promotion and that this means we’re not only forfeit the special promotion of a couple of extra lessons (which is fair), but all the money spent on the full price driving lessons is no longer valid. Be very wary of these guys and definitely don’t use their gift certificates!You can see from their response below that they prefer to insult customers, than resolve anything. They do not like people telling the truth about their company. They told me in writing twice that they will give us 0.00 for a $700 gift card which is still valid under consumer law for another 12 months! This correspondence has been passed on to fair trading. I think a good solution would be to give us what we paid for.Why do they think ripping off and then publicly insulting paying customers will make people trust them with their kids driving lessons?

Amazing instructor Patrick who helped me.I recently stopped due to having my first born and wasn't driving for a while.After a few driving lessons I decided to sit my first test which I've just passed Today!!..I am super grateful for all the things that I have learned and gained with my driving instructor.Recommend Coastwide Driving School 100%

My experience was extremely poor, I had food poisoning the day of my first lesson and they would not let me reschedule or receive a refund. $85 down the drain, I understand that there is a policy of proving notice 24 hours beforehand however if I had know i would have food poisoning 24 hours before I would have been well again. I think this policy is extremely disappointing and will not be returning. Additionally the worker who my mother spoke to on the phone when trying to explain the situation was extremely rude and dismissive.

Very easy to manage and book lessons. If you're learning automatic, I would highly recommend Sandy. She was an excellent instructor and create a relaxed environment making it very easy to learn.

A big thank you to my instructor Michelle, she is very encouraging, a good motivator, patient, professional and understanding. She is a great listener, very friendly and makes you feel relaxed while learning. With her guidance, she taught me the skills to become a safe driver.

I would recommend Coastwide Driving School to everyone! I had Andy Jones as my instructor for 2 years and I wouldn’t want anyone else to teach me how to drive. Thanks Andy & Coastwide for making it possible to get my License <3
