Ledge Point Beach 4x4 Access
Not a 4x4 driver, but family of residences, I was discussed at the destruction and appalled by the inconsiderate nature of the 4x4 drivers, no consideration for the dunes, dune vegetation, wild life, local residents or posted signs. I could give endless examples, but one of the latest, was 3 girls in there 4x4 drive though and over a locked gate the council had just put in, its bent and mangled remains are still there as evidence of this deplorable behaviour. I don't say this goes for every visitor, but I did see it for myself and was not impressed.

Great little beach drive with a nice little sand dune at the end. The closer you get to the dunes though the softer the sand gets so be prepared to get bogged.

Ledge Point Beach 4x4 Access
Giving a 3 star only due the hospitality. Venue is awesome, great facilities, green lawn, pool is great, bathrooms clean and close to the beach. Only thing that disappointed us is that we didn't feel welcome. There were 2 front line staff in particular that really made you feel that you were an inconvenience. We tossed coins to see who would have the job to go to the office. Our whole group found them very abrupt and disappointly unfriendly. Maybe they could benefit of a reshuffle of their staff. Other than that its a great place with lots of various accommodation options.

Lots of seaweed. Good lil fishing spot too. No toilets or showers plenty of parking around

Top of beach is hard packed but when the weed is in the sand close to the water is very soft

Beautiful stop over, stop our campervan just 20 meters from seaside. A smallish yet friendly petrol station cum minimart, toilet nearby. good stop over just to relax.

Good access, soft beach in places. Great watching the sunset from on too of the dunes.
