Wife used this salon for a haircut. Two gapping big holes in the back but they dim the lighting so she could not see them in the mirror. Totally unprofessional finish and totally upset her. Avoid even if they are the only hairdresser in Canberra.

Been going here since I was a kid. Love everything they do! The hairstylists are very good with curly/wavy hair, they always take into consideration how it will style with your own hair care regime, and give great styling tips! Additionally, they always ask before cutting anything, like “is it alright to thin the hair at the back” - very professional. I’ve always felt good trusting them with my hair ^_^

I had a hair wash and treatment, blow dry at La Beauté Salon, I was very satisfied with their service. My hair feels smooth after washing and treatment . Tracy the stylist is very kind, helpful and did a good job! Would recommend to friends!

I absolutely adore this salon! Coming from Sydney I've always found it a bit tricky finding a hairdresser I can trust but I absolutely recommend Julie. She is always clear in the technique she will use and how she will achieve what you are after. Highly recommended!

Zero star experience!!! Had a horrible experience at this salon that I’ve been going to for a year now. Julie wasn’t there - I don’t recognise the hair stylist ( Wed 23rd June 2021 at 1220 pm) She was one of the worst hairdresser I’ve come across - never smiled once, abrupt and rude - got annoyed that I hung my coat in the wrong place ! Can you believe that? Didn’t spend anytime checking in with what I wanted, seemed to be on autopilot. She was rough handling my hair and told me my hair was very dry and tried to get me to agree for a treatment. I declined. She proceeded to colour my hair in a sloppy manner leaving dye marks all along my hairline. Final straw was when she burnt my scalp whilst using the hair iron and I asked her to stop and walked out! As I was paying - I told her how unhappy I was with her customer service and that this is not the way to treat a costumer! No apology , asked me if I wanted a receipt for the payment! Sorry Julie, definitely lost me as a customer- if I could personally complain about the hairdresser on any other channel, I would. It’s not a language barrier , it’s really just lack of basic manners and professionalism that unfortunately you can’t teach. If you’re able to get rid of her, I think your salon would do much better!

I am not usually one to complain or write negative reviews, however I had a terrible experience at this salon a couple of weeks ago. My hair looks absolutely nothing like the picture I had shown the stylist or what I had asked for. When I mentioned my concerns to her, she was very dismissive, said it looked good and was not willing to make any changes. I left the salon feeling awful (the pictures speak for themselves) and paid full price.Perhaps I was unlucky because I have seen some nice pictures of results from this salon, and that's why I wanted to try it out. Needless to say I will not be returning and will now need to go and get my hair fixed somewhere else.

The hairdressers here are lovely and I've had multiple great haircuts here. Highly recommend

Only salon in Canberra I’ll go to! I go for the fantastic short and medium length style cuts but I’ve also had an incredible colour correction on a badly butchered home balayage attempt.

Absolutely wonderful!!! Julie is a great hairdresser and one that really knows hair, how to cut and style it.
