OZ Design Furniture West Gosford

Perhaps I should have read some of the google reviews before purchase. Our experience in store was fine but its what came after that was highly irritating. We were advised to order by Sunday to achieve a Wednesday or Saturday delivery. We ordered Friday (ahead of the Sunday) and paid the $100 delivery fee as noted in other posts. We received a text Tuesday to say the item is ready for pick up. We immediately called the store to understand why we were getting the message and spoke to the same sales person who sold us the furniture. They said the text was sent in error and all was in order for delivery Saturday. Fast forward and here we are on Saturday, so we call the store to understand time for delivery. We spoke to another sales person who was helpful but confirmed the previous sales attendant entered delivery for Saturday in 2 week time and not the Saturday earlier as was sold. Needless to say pretty darn annoyed and not a great start for our first purchase from OZ Design.

Awful experience, staff refused to let me sit on a sofa before buying it. Refused to give me any details. Left frustrated.

Staff didn’t even bother to come & say hello to us . We visited around 3:15 pm today . We we’re looking around & at some point walking a bit close past the customer service desk but they didn’t even bother to say hello , not even a wave of acknowledgment . Maybe because we we’re in our work clothes & we looked daggy or perhaps because we’re Asians. Very poor customer service . NOT HAPPY !!!

Very unsatisfied customer with regards to the delivery contractors they use for their products. When payment is made for Delivery, clearly stating on the invoice that the property has at least 4 flights of stairs to come down, time should specifically be allocated for this so as to not respond with the excuse of, 'Sorry, this is taking longer than expected and we have 6 other deliveries to do today, so we'll have to deliver it another day'. This is to be dealt with by the COMPANY not the CUSTOMER. We have also had other suppliers (including Oz Design in the past) who have had no problems. In our opinion, very unprofessionally handled.Their solution to the problem? 'We will of course refund the delivery fee when we deliver it on Saturday'. Thanks for your apathetic response Debbie from customer care, but we specifically took a day off work to receive this delivery TODAY! Thank you for wasting our time. We will not be purchasing or recommending Oz Design in the future.

The staff were lovely but the store manager was horrible to speak with. Planned to place an order for a sofa set on the phone after a store visit and changed my mind completed after her horrible attitude on the phone blaming her staff and me as a customer about their delivery policy. If it weren’t for her I would have purchased the items.If you don’t like managing a furniture store, don’t take a job there. You’re turning away customers and damaging the brand

Delivery options are available only on Saturday and the earliest time was between 7pm and 9pm.There are no other days offered for delivery and the times available are not negotiable.Delivery is $100 as well. That is a heavy delivery fee for such tight restrictions.

Tried to get items delivered and they only deliver at ridiculous hours so wasn’t helpful at all so went in store and it was a worse experience. The store was terribly organised, dirty and didn’t have anything I wanted. It only has items that were years old and not in the best of condition and they were still trying to charge crazy prices

Great customer service and good quality products. Our delivery went smoothly and there was absolutely no hassles. We really appreciate the clear communication we had with the store. Our lounges are fantastic and we could not be happier. Thank you :)

I went into Oz Design to fill in time while waiting for family who were in another store. I walked around at my own leisure without being asked a million times was I ok. I sat in many arm chairs and still I wasn’t hassled. I walked up to the counter and was served by a very professional and helpful staff member. Nothing was a problem for Maddi she rang around a few stores to find me another chair to match the one that was in store . I walked out a very happy customer and Maddie was there when I went back to pick up my 2 new chairs . If you shop at Oz Design West Gosford ask for Maddi she gives excellent customer service
