Was a nice walking track with a few waterfalls and views, nothing spectacular or breathtaking. I was advised that there would be beautiful flowers along this track, but to my dissappointment I did not see any - I have walked more stunning tracks, however, still a nice track to walk.

Only a short walk to some beautiful little waterfalls that is not a hard walk at all.

Absolutely love this. National Park .so close to GosfordGood car park with $8 daily parking. Lots of barbecues and seating also a toilet block that was clean.a couple of different choices in your walk a short of walk and a longer walk but both spectacular with waterfall views On both. Lots of wild flowers and birds a really nice place to spend the day.

Nice easy walk, motorway noise can be loud in sections on the Northern end.

$8 for parking! The signage and path is super vague, we got lost twice. There's two waterfalls worth looking at, on the right side. When you see the circular stepping stones you know you're on the right track, check Google maps to make sure you're not on a multi hour walk to nowhere. It's kind of a dangerous walk/climb to get to the good waterfall have multiple people with you to help you past the rocks. Also beware of snakes, I saw a green one slither by.

Girrakool loop track is an easy loop track that takes bit more than an hour to return back to the parking. Piles track is slightly more difficult ( level 5), taking close to 3 hours with little stops by the beautiful waterfall and creek spots

Big wet and muddy with the recent rain! There was a goanna in the carpark when we arrived. Paid all day parking is necessary. Toilets and bbq available

Good mid level hiking trail to the small waterfall. You cannot go in water here during rains as its fast flowing. If its raining the hiking path becomes muddy, slippery, and tricky to navigate as its not paved all way through; and will need some level of fitness to navigate and not suitable for kids less than 5 years old IMO.Parking rates are $8 for whole day at the National Park so very reasonable for a full day to explore Girrakool and Somersby Falls.
