Great location - facilities a little dated but worked perfectly. Staff very friendly as well as the permanent residents being very helpful and welcoming.

I bought a Travel Auctions voucher to visit this site. There was a gorgeous view from our cabin Rock Lobster. But that is the only nice thing I have to say about the cabin. The furniture was tired and dated with mismatched dining chairs, the bathroom cabinets were rotting on the base and the old reverse cycle aircon was very noisy and had a filthy filter (which we cleaned). We peaked thru' the windows of unoccupied similar style cabins to the one we stayed in and they were much nicer and had updated interiors with new split system aircons as well. Seems like the discounted Travel Auctions voucher I purchased is only used on the inferior cabin/s. Whilst the grounds were clean and well maintained the BBQ area was disappointing. The fridge in the BBQ area had something rotting in the freezer that had a smell that would wake your dead grandmother and one of the 2 BBQ's was too filthy to use. I would only go back to this park if I was given a better cabin to stay in. If you are going there anytime soon tell them you don't want Rock Lobster cabin!

Nice and friendly campground. Dog friendly as long as dogs are on leash at all times. Showers and toilets could be a bit cleaner at busy times of the year. They were able to fit us in on short notice around Christmas, so I take that as a plus. However, the neighbouring campervan stole our powerplug for which we paid $58 per night, which is not cheap. Camping place for our tent was close to the beach - very lovely sheltered from the wind although on a bit of a slope for a tent-only camping space. Would come back, although not in the busy season (lots of rogue children and teenagers until the wee morning hours)

Great caravan park to stay in. Right on the beach, safe for kids and also dog friendly. Great bush setting..

Duke/Dook was alright, bit of a numpty.Great park out of town looking over the seaside, only a 4km drive into town, nice and peaceful off the main Rd too and a good road to get there. They have cabins and a dorm lodge and a rustic group cabin (highly recommendable) lot of work crews during winter and holiday goers in summer. They have a bbq area and amenities and a bistro, some nights they do fish n chips.

This is my 5th time coming here and I absolutely love it. It’s so calming with the amazing ocean views. Beach is within walking distance, games room and jumping pillow for the kids. Lots of great amenities and local shops all a short stroll down the road. Sandra is an amazing human being and she has such a beautiful soul and great personality. I would recommend anyone to visit and stay a few nights especially if your looking to just kick back and relax. xx

Friendly staff but the Park needs a lot of money spent on it. The amenities are not clean and in disrepair, there was raw sewerage & dirty toilet paper was on the outside of the sewerage pipe of a cabin a cars length away from our caravan door! They advertised high speed wifi internet which was actually non-existent, you couldn't log on and was told it's hit & miss. Such a shame as it's a lovely location.

Beautiful camping spot. Really good facilities, well maintained and clean. Sadly fish weren't biting but we'll just have to come back and try again.

We first encountered Henty Bay through winning a travel auction, so had no idea what to expect.What a lovely park this is. So clean and well set out. We have been in a one bedroom cabin for three nights, and it’s a beautiful peaceful place. We can see the ocean from our cabin, and it’s maybe 20m away.It was quiet the first two nights, but it’s a bit wilder tonight and we can hear the ocean! Can’t wait to go to bed and let it lull us to sleep!The cabin is quite spacious for a 1-br, and the shower was amaaazing: easy temperature regulation and good pressure.The only complaint was that all the fish were in hiding the whole time! “Come to Portland” I told my better half. “You’ll get lots of fishing in!” No such luck. In fact no-one will catch a fish in Portland for a week or so because they’re all full of Ian’s bait!All jokes aside: this is a lovely park - clean, friendly, with a location second to none. We will be back.
