Solomon’s Security & Blinds

I do not recommend this company. I contacted Solomons over 1 week ago re incorrect installation (received acknowledgment to my contact), and have not heard from them. I had ordered external Calypso blinds which arrived in the correct colour and had requested installation off centre to window for privacy reasons. As I had great difficulty communicating with their rep Michael and his dismissive attitude, I ensured the 300mm overhang to the window side was written into the contract. I also discussed this with the person Solomons sent to check measurements and confirmed this with the installer on the day. I am left wondering why I have a 450mm overhang??. I have now involved a Builder to review my installation dilemma who has also confirmed that the 2 horizontal arms attaching the blind to the house are not even parallel. I think Solomons should review their Mission Statement....”platinum service second to none”, “total customer satisfaction”.......I don’t think so!

Worst company to deal with. First waited 3 weeks for the blinds then they brought the wrong one. Was told that the right one would be ordered that day only to find out another three weeks later they still had not ordered them on the day they were meant to be installed. Then got the run around saying that the rep was meant to come out again before they would order, a completely DIFFERENT story to what we had be told by the man who said he did the ordering. We decided to call the manager of the cleveland store in which we were told multiple times he would call us back only to be told 10 minutes before closing he wouldn't. Important to note we had also paid in full and was treated this way.Do not use them as they have NO customer service and don't know how to operate their own business with integrity. The manager is disrespectful to paying customers by not even having the decency to call back when they have stuffed up.

The showroom is only self service, so was unable to find what I was looking for or ask questions.A complete waste of my time.

I am thoroughly impressed with how professional and efficient my blind and security door installation was. From booking a measure and quote to the final measure then installation, the entire process took three weeks during peak season right before Christmas! Thank you solomon's for providing a superior product at great value. I would definitely recommend Solomon's to friends and family and will be a return customer in the future!

I have had 4 properties fitted entirely with plantation shutters in the last 18 months and they are fantastic, quiet in windy conditions, block the sun on hot days, lets the warmth in during winter, protect the carpet from fading. Great solution. Solomon's made it easy to get a measure an d quotation and they ready for installation on schedule without any fuss, Great people to work with.
