RFT Electrical Gate Automation

Called and spoke to James as needed someone to quickly fix the gate on the house we just moved into so we could keep the dog secure in the yard. He came to quote that afternoon and the new motor and pin pad were installed the following day. Good guys, quick turnaround and will use for the servicing required in future. Highly recommended.

We had problematic electric gates at the front of the property. Called RFT. Jim came round about an hour later and explained why we needed a new opening system.Two days later Ryan and Colin installed the new system..They were polite and cleaned up after themselves. They came up with a couple of good ideas to conceal the wiring.We could not be happier with the finished product.

I paid a high CASH price for James to install my new electric gate, he wasn't the cheapest, but it seemed to me his gate would be a higher quality. Firstly, after asking if they could make the space 30cm wider than the existing gates, when it was finished, it was narrower than the old gates by about 10cm, so in all, I lost 40cm of width. Doesn't sound like a lot, but we couldn't have guests bring in their cars as they would often hit the sensors on the side and mis-navigate the width, deliveries of mulch etc, could no longer drive in. The sensor lights that he installed, were meant to come on at dusk, they never came on, in the end, instead of fixing, he just programmed them to stay on all the time. One day the gate was playing up and I asked him to come around and look, ants had gotten into the motor, they blew them out with a blower and after all the problems, they NEVER solved, they charged me $154! Not right first time, second time, or 3rd time. Very poor service.
