Kangaroo Island Coastal Villas

A bit of a surprise not to have an office onsite but cabin clean nice and compact. Shoreline just across the street making for lovely walks on a shelly beach with pelicans and lots of black swans foraging on seagrass.

Very stressful - no one was around for check-in at 6:30 PM (I had indicated that I would arrive at 7 PM when booking). Tried 4 different phone numbers, texts, voice mails, no answer and no contact for 1h30. I ended up booking a different hotel for that night, and stayed there for the first night.But at least they did not charge for that first night, so I'm adding back a star. The place itself was a bit dirty and not very comfortable, and no wifi.

The accommodation was in need of a good clean.The information we received through sealink was very outdated.Wouldn't stay here again.

Nice clean and tidy cottages. Contain 2 bedrooms one queen and a set of bunk beds. Set near the water and close to the jetty for a fish, walk, or kayak. There is a cafe, and a place to indulge in some oysters as well as The Shed...The Mangers Kylie and Brian are very friendly and have a good bit of knowledge of American River and other tourist pleasures to visit. If you need anything they will try and help with anything you may need. There is a toaster, jug, good microwave that bakes. A sunbeam baking pan, pots, crockery, utensils, heater/aircon etc. A post office /mini market is close by and a supermarket in Kingscote. Best probably to buy from the supermarket first before getting to the island, as things are a bit more expensive.... There is a washing machine and you need to pay for the powder. I stayed here for quite some time and enjoyed the solitude, bird watching outside yr front door, feeding them crumbs so I could get some good shots. On tank water so showers need to be short especially in the peak season. All up I enjoyed my time here Thoroughly and I hope you do too.August is just as a good month to come and visit....

Nice & clean very private & close to few scenic places

Excellent place. Well equipped and clean units, quiet location. We were offered a free up grade, all good . Owners very nice and friendly.

Amazing view, tranquillity, very warming welcome from the host. I love the way they share with us the experience of living with nature and would be amazed at seeing pelicans, wallabies, echidnas nearby the cottage. Will come back one day :)

A charming and extremely well-kept corner of this beautifully unspoilt island. The staff are wonderfully friendly and helpful, the location is just divine, and the villas themselves are so lovely to stay in. My family enjoyed our vacation at Coastal Villas very much, I highly recommend this accommodation to anyone staying on the island.
