Bellbird Private Hospital

Ran 4 hours behind schedule the day of my surgery coupled with the protocol of no food or water, obviously rough on the soul, BUT nothing unusual there, I can't name a hospital that ever runs on schedule. The anesthetist explained the procedure to me (wisdom teeth removal under sedation), he was very attentive to my concerns and reassured me that he administers anti-nausea drugs to all of his patients, for general comfort. Now, I am absolutely terrified of medical procedures, but I awoke with very minimal bruising and swelling, nursing staff were lovely and stood by me the entire time. I could tell the procedure was conducted well, and the surgeon did an efficient and affective job. Overall, I'm very happy with the service provided here.

Excellent facility. Our darling 96 year old was in for a week following surgery. The staff were so kind and caring and the food was great. Best hospital stay we have had so far, and there have been a few.

I had the covid test today to prepare for my wisdom teeth removal surgery.It was actually such an unpleasant experience. The reception staff were wonderful however, when I got into the room for the testing. The test was administered by a woman who was extremely rushed. She didn’t explain one thing to me just told me to sit down.As I’ve heard that the swab goes up your nose I had mentioned I had severe problems with my sinuses, and please be careful.She just told me I had no choice if I wanted to get my surgery done and proceeded with swabbing my throat, and with the same end of the swab she inserted it into my nose so quickly and forcefully that I’m now struggling to fall asleep with how much pain I’m in.I’ve also lost my sense of smell.Truly hoping this gets better tomorrow. Extremely unhappy with how this went especially when I’m giving so much money out of my own pocket for this surgery.

Great hospitality and prompt follow up. Clear explanation of problem and the practice & remedy what they provide. Has good parking space.

I would like to thank Dr Stambe and all the wonderful nursing staff for looking after my mum during her stay. Special mention to the cooks and catering staff. All the extra care you give really shows.

Had my wisdom teeth out in the day surgery here and the nurses were great! Really helpful and made me feel a lot less nervous!
